so im a junior in highschool this year taking algebra 2 and its really hard for me and i was weighing my options in life i have no idea what i want to do with my life and im on the road to a 4 year collage but i was thinking i could drop down my math which would put me in a 2 year collage road. i want some ideas of good careers that aren't needed to have been taken in high school i was alsoo thinking about cooking but seeing im a junior it feels kinda late to be getting into something like that. what do you guys think im in welding 2 but i dont know if thats what i want to do.taking construction this year also and ive taken 2 years of art

go with 2 year collge man get your generals done and start something figure out what you want to do first, dont rush into it to many people do that and regret it.

Set up your priorities first. What do you want the most. $$$$$ or a job that you like to do everyday. This choice will cut your possibilities by at least half of it. Then do some research on everything that might interest you.

School classes don't reflect really the job you'll have. Some of my friends are studying in medecine and they hate the classes. But they're working there as a summer job and they like it a lot. So maybe you'll like to do some maths in your job.

My friend is also going to be a welder. He likes the classes a lot and he says that he'll probably do this his whole life cause he likes it a lot. He's going to do a do another class ''high pressure welder'' or something like that which pays a lot of ca$h. So that's probably the best option you got for now.

suck it up and finish it. just do what you have to do to pass. dont limit your options by admitting defeat. and even if you do its not the end of the world. it wont help your chances of going to a 4 year but neither will it kill them

yeah i mean i wash dishes now for my job and id like to get certified to weld because i know it does indeed pay good

Yeah! If you got some questions, PM me and I'll ask my friends. He's currently at his second year of studying and still has the same motivation so, good thing.

it may pay well but do you like it ...

im 100% serious when i say i really wanna be an astronaut. And im workin hard to become one...

this.

if you're really struggling, ask your parents if they can get you a private tutor in math. i know a lot of people who have gotten them, or go after school and talk to your teacher.

if i ever have trouble in any subject, i'll go to my teacher during lunch/after school/whenever and ask for extra practice problems, worksheets, reading, etc, that could help me understand the concept or subject more.

I'm in 10th grade and i'm taking two math classes to not have to take one my last semester of senior year so i can take that period and do some college work i have been thinking about vitaculture (making of beer and wine) my friends brother is doing it at CSU and it can make you a lot of money and it would be easy to start a micro brew.

Whatever you do, don't drop out. It will set you back a lonnnnng way. Yes you could get your GED but believe me I know a lot of people who have and they all said they wished they just finished high school. Algebra 2 is easy concepts bro, I don't know what textbooks you use or anything but if you need mad help then I would check out hotmath.com which really helped a lot of kids I go to school with grasp harder math concepts. Good luck!

Dude just fuck it all and go be a ski bum.
Seriously though, 4 year colleges are so expensive that a 2 year college or no college may make sense if you really dont have a specific career you want to do.
