Life expectancy of a tramp

Been jumping on the one that has been outside uncovered for at least 10 years. All but one of the springs are undamaged and just a little rusted, welds look strong, mat is in decent shape. Lately it’s been making some funky noises and my gf thinks it should be retired. Has anyone had a tramp break because it was too old?

my cousin's tramp is about 16 years old, and still going. well, about 2 years ago we were jumping on it and one of the supports broke in half, but my uncle just welded it back together and we still jump on it a ton.

on my friends, the springs started coming off till there was like 15 on it. then one day we was just chillin on throwin some backies and he ripped the matt in half. right fuckin through it.

they last so much longer if you take the mat and springs off in the winter so the only thing that's outside is the frame.
