Life after death

So what do you think there is after you die?

Like some sort of heaven and hell, or you just rot and it stops there?
 
i think time becomes irelevent. just like a dream you could exist in that moment before death forever. i bet you lose all your memories, thoughts, hopes and dreams and exist in some etherial collective.

that was poorly explained
 
Idk, if you think about it, could life exist without you knowing it? Would you be 3rd person watching it? You would still be there, you would have to, idk, it weirds me out to think about it too much.
 
personnally i dont think anything hapens....u just rot and ur in the ground dead forever...its weird when u think of it...like the world is going to go on fro billions of years....u only have like 90 of them if ur lucky...w/e ull be dead so fuck it just have fun and dont think about it until uu want to die when u cnt walk and have to have a nurse help u pee
 
well, lets go back to the begging of life.

when your still in the woom, you have a brain, a body, a soul and what not. but does anyone remember anything, or do we just not have any thoughts/feelings etc...

when you die, nothing happens, its like you were never born.

i mean, remember dreamless sleep. you cant remember a thing, u just kind of wake up. except with death you dont wake up
 
i think wit ur soul it walks the eath like the shows you see on like myth buster were they show ghost encounters... wat else could those be other then ghost that walk, and were do ghost come from... a soul... but sometimes i wonder (this is kinda wierd) what if ghosts r like some sort of animal like a dinosaur, it has it's own species only they're different then us
 
i am not religious, so i dont believe in any sort of lucid or tactile afterlife...but it boggles my mind to even try to comprehend the state of not being. like, imagine going to sleep, and not dreaming, and not waking up, forever. i sort of have this image in my head of going to sleep, and just being asleep wiht an active mind forever.
 
allah takes us to heaven where he has created 75 virgins just for us to have sex with. thats what those weird suicide bomber dudes think
 
we are here for our time, and we are gone. that's it. heaven, hell, and every other "afterlife" are just there to help us deal with the uncertainty that is nothingness. i know i can't personally comprehend what happens to us when we simply cease to exist, so i understand why people are uncomfortable with it, and fall back on religion.
 
i was just saying, you have all the qualities of life...a soul could just be something people made up to explain self ambition and drive, if you know what i mean.
 
you can't remember it, but the memory is stored in a brain cell somewhere. do you remember what you wore the 5th day of the 3rd grade? of course not, that memory is lost within your brain. but, the information is still in there somewhere, you just cannot recall it.
 
I belive in recarnation, like if you were a bad person you would reencarnate into a ant, and if you are a good person you can recarnate into a dolphin or an eagle.
 
physically, yes. but in my opinion, your soul/spirit lives on to where ever you're destined to end up, either Heaven or hell.

thats a wierd site, i didnt feel like reading the words, im gonna become possesed, but yea its either heaven or hell, even movies like, the excorcist, and the excorcism of emily rose or something like that, theyre based on true stories and wierd things start happening in between scenes and backstage and all that, but the thing where those people have to stay in those haunted houses and all the stuff move in the houses kreep me out
 
is you think about space, and life and shit. i dont really see how its possible to go to like heaven or something.
 
i knew some loser would bring this up. Im talking on a more personal level, and im also talking on a modern level. And yes im fully aware of the religous based terrorism and such, but i have yet to meet a religious person who has declared religious war so...
 
I pretty much agree. and for people talking about your "soul", I believe that soul is simply another thing of your mind. and so when you die, your brain also dies, and you're pretty much done.
 
i think that youll wake up in someone else and have no knowledge of your preveous life. like you will just close your eyes and wake up someone knew completely brainswiped
