has anybody rode the libtech nas park ones cause i might be able to get a pair for 300 and i know they are like 2x4s but i was curious if the magne-traction works cause i live on the icy-east coast and how durable are they

and what about the liberty larose pro modle the 178 i think the ones with the bamboo core how r those

if it matters i am 5'10 165 and all i ride is park and i ski hard

the nas park ski is nice.

ive heard alot that it is stiff but i went from riding scott p3's to the lib nas's so the LIBS felt pretty good for me. im 5'7 like 130 and i can make em bend pretty well so i think they wont be that stiff for you.

as for magne-traction, ilt does help on the ice coast cuz i ski PA so.....

if you get them PM and let me know how you like them and what we can change to make them better

anything you tthink would benefit the skiers more

maybe wider, skinnier, flexier, light, just anything.

the magnatraction is nice for stability and holding your edge, but it makes it a little harder to turn on. i found that you need to be cruising pretty fast to really lay down a carve. other than that they are real nice.

I have the purple Pow's from last year, and heres my experience.

I center mounted these to be my park ski. Overall, they work really well, stiff as shit though. The topsheet chips like a motherfucker, so if you like cosmetics, get another ski. As for the magnetraction, its alright, kinda a difference from what I normally feel, but its small enough that I think its more of a marketing gimmick than anything else. They ski really well switch after you get used to how fast you can set an edge. On pow days when I've skied these, double hand-drags are mandatory on light chop. Wish they were symmetrical though, but thats what I get for wanting a large waisted ski.

Verdict - Good stiff ski that can hold it down with any other ski I've ridden on normal, kinda icy days. I have a feeling these things will really start to shine in spring snow. And Magnetraction technology is slightly noticeable at best. Buy them if you see them at discount, not worth the ridiculous price they have for MSRP.

Just curious, why is $600 for a pair of skis (or $300 for each NAS) is ridiculous? MSRP for many other skis is well above that.

For the overall quality of the ski, your money is better invested elsewhere. I've ridden mine for 10 days or so, the topsheets look as bad as my Madens I've had for two years. Plus, they're rare, and that means you'll hardly ever see them for sale. Most people who want these are going to have to buy them at a dealer, and they're not worth it in my opinion. Well worth the $200 I payed for my pair, but not much past that.
