Libtech bases?

ive got the pow nas, realy like them, used them for a week, try to wax them (tiedye bases) and the wax turns different coulors, like i had blue wax on a yelllow part of the base, (i was useing orange by the way) is something screwy with my waxing equipment? or are the bases a weird matirial?

maybe they used colored wax when manufacturing and when heating up the base the manufacturing wax oozes out the pores and causes weird colors...try some hot scraping and see if the wax still discolors......

I have seen this before, on newer skis it seems like the little bit of colour just comes off the base. This problem should go away after a few times waxing.

This.Don't worry about it. Sounds like it's just the factory wax mixing with your new stuff.
