I rode them today. They are super light with no awkward swing weight. The edge hold is unbelievable. The skis butter when you want them to, but stay stiff and stable at high speeds (no chatter). They love to jump and they love to go fast. Switch riding is made easy thanks to the max edge control all the way down the ski. Straight up sick for all mountain / jibbing / jumping. These skis make the whole mountain one big park to jib.
...he died doing what he loved. He will always be rememberd as a great snowboarder, but more importantly as a great friend.
^im sorry but no skis butters easy yet stays stable at high speeds...the 2 dont go together unless you idea of a butter is just doing a 180 on snow. you either have to be 200lbs to flex em that much or they are soft enought to butter and soft skis chatter at high speeds
^ you calling SPinks a liar? I believe him if he says that these are the fastest park skis available. I heard that some ex-racers are stoked on them as well. I would like to try those Reapers but I already spent my xmas money on some stealths. I'm stoked that Axis is cool enough to carry them!
I rode mine the other day, They are so sick. Yes they do butter easy, and no they dont chatter at high speeds, these skis are so sick. Really light, and really easy to carve, and control.. get them
I got to ride some this weekend. Great skis all around. The best thing about them is the swing weight, in the park, and even for hop-turns on steeps. They do chatter a little bit at really high speeds, but its not too bad, since they rule everything else. Really quick edge to edge as well.
