Liberty Stealth Review

There been alot of talk about Liberty and there skis, and today was the first day i managed to get out on my Liberty Stealth's, mounted at cab forward stance (around 2.5 cm behind center) and im 6 feet 155lbs.

we got 25cm of fresh, and i managed to get a ride to the hill.

First off

Weight: These skis are light, i have them mounted with p12 jibs and it felt like i could pop a 3 off just about anything. Having them mounted at cab forward gives you a sweet swing wieght, your super balanced in the air.

Flex: Meduim-soft i found. These skis have alot of camber so they ski with alot of energy. the softer and wider tip profile did wonders floating me in fresh snow. And for people not beleiving the soft enough to buteer/ stiff enough they won;t chatter at high speeds, i was impressed. i could butter no problem, and going as fast a coupld, minimal chatter. i was impressed.

Groomers: 21m turning radius i beleive, great edge hold and with the meduim flex it's an ease arching those turns.

Steep/Pow: Great float, with a good allround ski dimensions, in the bumps and fresh snow, i can only explain it by telling you these skis are really 'energtic'. They rip everywhere.

Park: Lots of ollie power, i could carve switch almost as good as i could forward, and feel soo stable. Downright dope.

The only problems i ran into is that im not used to being so close to center and having so much ski behind me. so it took me a while to get used to it. mostly the feeling when really carving hard and release edge to edge, and when skiing really agressive in the steeps i found i got a little ahead of the ski and the tips would dive due to being close to ceneter mount. But that's mainly my skiing too, and i'll get used to them. (my last skis were 177 1080), abuse wise, the usual scratching and what not, nothing im concerned about.

I def recommend them, i would say classify them as a DOPE park ski, that can handle the rest of the mountain. I guess that's pretty much it, if you have any questions feel free to msg me. peace.

wweeeiiirrddd....my name is kevin too and im also 6' and also weigh exactly 155 lbs

Jeepers Creepers, where'd you get the neat sneakers?!?!

hehehe giggle giggle giggle

I ride the choppers (170 pro twin) and have the exact same thoughts as you. I have them just a tiny bit back from center (1st line), and same for me, took a little while to get used to all the tail. Now they feel great. I haven't had the chance to try them in much powder yet, but for park and groomers and general all mountain skiing, they are the best ski I have yet to come across.

watch out I have BADD

I own them also, very very very sick ski, its like having springs for skis they have so much pop and are light as heck!

' would say classify them as a DOPE park ski, that can handle the rest of the mountain. ' have you not read my first post? if you want more insight your going to have to be specific.

They were mentioned in freeskiers annual ski buyers guide, but they where not officially skied on. SO as far as getting a reveiw from a maf itt's not gonna happen, you'll have to rely on people's opinions, or testing them out for yourself

Ya, I had a pretty good expirence on my stealths this year. They were a bit stiff to me (coming off of Fujatives). The center ride was much smoother than it was on Fujas. I go core center or cab foward on all my park skis.

I found my stealths to ride switch much smoother, and pop like crazy.

Even at center I could still tear up the back bowls at vail on a powder day with no extra effort.

The pop and lightweight were what i enjoyed the most.

Liberty does not only make great skis. They have the most supportive company for thier team and consumer. If you break or delam a ski they are respnsive and send you a new ski asap.

ya but they make u pay for shipping and if u dotn meet the requirments for warranty then they wont send u a ski and make u pay for u to get the broken one back

quit bringing back old threads to bash the company, when your board. Your lame as fuck.
