I know it sounds like an obvious but wear pipe gloves. Also just go at night, no point going when its opens. Its hot as hell. Plus the people there are really nice. Its that southern hospitality.

What is there to do during the day? Are the tramps and skate park open to everyone?

i went back in june, it was pretty fun, feel bad for people who ski there all year though.....

tramps passes are $5 for an "hour" (all day). If its your first time, then its $15 so say you have already been on it. The skatepark is $1 an hour i think

Should you remove the wax from your skis before you go? And what type of pants should you wear, just your normal ski pants or like sweat pants or what.

From what I've read you don't need to do anything wax wise with your skis unless you want to put cold weather wax on them but it isnt necessary. And you should wear normal ski pants because of the sprinkler system
