last year they had a bad batch the epoxy didnt cure right so shit was just blowing up!

it was fixed and this year they are adding a few things to the skis to make them a lot better!

C-Notes are far from a sick everything ski. The sidecut is worthless in anything but pow. I agree that they are light, but I prefer a bit heavier ski anyway.

have you ever ridden the c-notes?

the ski is fucking amazing! granted they are not a ski to go carve the shit out of the hill on ! the sidecut is what makes the ski so damn fun !

the only advantage to a heavier ski is more stability! wich is not an issue with c-notes! they handle amazing no chatter at all when hauling ass!

the light weight is just going to make them easier and finner to ski!

I guess Vicious and powfoka like different kinds of skis. I've pretty much heard that the C-notes were bad in anything except powder, but I don't really care.

I wouldn't be providing my views on a ski I've never ridden before.

Again, the sidecut on the C-Notes is ideal for pow skiing, but on anything else, they don't hold any edge for shit, especially on ice. If you are looking for a set of pow skis, I'd highly recommend them, but if you want an everyday ski, there are many more much better suited for all conditions.

Also, powfoka, if you agree that they have nearly zero ability to carve, why would you think they are sweet everywhere?! That's a bit contradictory, unless you like everyday skis that don't hold an edge.

Anyway, 99.9% of people I've talked to that have skied C-Notes are of the same opinion as me, but I guess that just leave more of them for you. Enjoy!

i live in utah man there is no ice! if you ski somewhere where there is ice you shouldnt even look at a ski this fat!

First of all, I never said "I'm such a shitty skier, so I can't hold an edge on the C-Notes." Instead, I was pointing out that the edge hold of C-Notes is lacking compared to many skis out there. I'd happily shred your ass any day.

Next, I live in CO, where there is minimal ice, like in UT, but there are icy patches to be found in both states. I was, once again, just providing an example and not talking about all the time, but you went and assumed I lived somewhere on the EC and that I skied ice mostly so I shouldn't consider a ski as fat as the C-Note. Personally, I don't even consider the C-Note fat.

Once again we find ourselves in a neat little back and forth discussion. I'm curious...have you actually skied all the sticks you give input on all the time??

First of all, way to drop the extra info about your sled so that people think you are cool. Second, if you knew me at all, you'd know that: 1. I could care less what skis are trendy and cool and 2. I know plenty about the sticks I ride and never give my input if I feel as though I don't know what I'm talking about.

I owned a pair of C-Notes and gave my honest opinion of them. You, my friend, are the one who obviously lacks the ability to feel the difference between certain skis as you are the first person I've ever come across with that view of the C-Note. I also never said I dislike the ski, in fact, I think it's a sweet pow ride, but lacks in other areas where other skis excel.

Anyway, none of this is any matter as you and your input are a waste of mine and everyone else's time.
