My previous post had a little typo in it. I meant to say the warranty DOES NOT cover normal wear. Normal wear includes edge wear from rails and jibbing.
Listen kids, I have been skiing for 20 seasons now, I have been sliding logs and rails for as long as they have been around. I know what happens to edges after a few seasons. Thats why we use Rockwell 48 edges, to SLOW the edge wear and help prevent edge breakage. If you send your skis back with some normal wear on them and expect a new pair, we are going to be able to tell.
We use Rockwell 48 Edges on all our models, the toughest edges availible. (Line uses the same edges on a few of their models). The edges hold up really really well. I have been using a pair of Stealth Prototypes for a while (including urban) and the edges are still in one piece and are not splitting away from the base.
If the edge breaks, splits, and comes out of the ski, send it back to us. We will take each warranty issue on an individual basis. We want to provide the best products backed by the best services. Obviously if you snap your skis in half, or the factory glue doesnt hold for some reason (happens to every ski company, has for years), they will be eligible for replacement.
Get off the internet and go skiing!
