It seems that from a lot of the posts I've looked at in this forum and from talking to various people that a lot of people like Liberty but have never even tested a pair let alone actually seen a pair. Kinda interesting...but good for Liberty, I'm sure that makes them hella stoked on their company.

Transworld said that Mountain Creek's terrain park was the 'creme de la creme of jib parks.' DIRTY JERSEY! THATS FUCKING RIGHT!

I dont care what anyone says about Liberty now but Im calling bullshit on the warranty covering edge damage due to grinding rails. Some people out there can destroy edges really fast on rails and I just dont believe it til I see if liberty will give you a brand new pair after u abuse their skis on handrails. Im not saying they are lieing but I will only believe it when it actaully happens to someone and they end up replacing the skis. If they do, then WHOLEY SHIT i would never hav to buy skis again. Just keep destroying em on rails and sending em in.

the bold is where i had a problem with your post dumbass. why even bother posting that. you're semi-complementing them, but at the same time you're trying to start shit because you thought some other dumbass on here would back-up your comment. many people have ridden them, and many people like them. don't bother commenting on other ski companies in that manner until you either give up on your imaginary company or finally get a product out.

liberty has been working for a few years at their skis and they deserve the hype they're getting. armada was the same way except everyone respected it before they were out just because tanner, boyd, and crew were on the team.

LineSkiNJ, you dont have to call bullshit that liberty is backing up their skis with rail damage, just read spinks' post and you will find out what you need to know about that

They have rockwell edges in them, which is what they use on snowboards, so the skis prolly will last longer on rails than normal skis.

i was going to go for a quad daffy but i was like, why huck? -mommy

i think rockwell is just the comp. who makes them . It has nothing to do with there hardness.

'Bust it seth, YEAH DOG '

Uh, Armada and 4FRNT both use rockwell edges. Still don't see how you can warranty edge damage.

I've done some research, and I still think it's marketing.

we will see after a year of em being out.....so im not saying anythin more....

Rockwell=nothing but a hardness rating

3 year warranty? AWESOME!

Here's to hoping their company lasts more than 3 years, so that your skis can actually get covered under the 'warranty'.

Bahahaha... or, you could call it the 'elitist snob' cult. Anyways, my family already owns a country club, so no thanks.

My previous post had a little typo in it. I meant to say the warranty DOES NOT cover normal wear. Normal wear includes edge wear from rails and jibbing.

Listen kids, I have been skiing for 20 seasons now, I have been sliding logs and rails for as long as they have been around. I know what happens to edges after a few seasons. Thats why we use Rockwell 48 edges, to SLOW the edge wear and help prevent edge breakage. If you send your skis back with some normal wear on them and expect a new pair, we are going to be able to tell.

We use Rockwell 48 Edges on all our models, the toughest edges availible. (Line uses the same edges on a few of their models). The edges hold up really really well. I have been using a pair of Stealth Prototypes for a while (including urban) and the edges are still in one piece and are not splitting away from the base.

If the edge breaks, splits, and comes out of the ski, send it back to us. We will take each warranty issue on an individual basis. We want to provide the best products backed by the best services. Obviously if you snap your skis in half, or the factory glue doesnt hold for some reason (happens to every ski company, has for years), they will be eligible for replacement.

Get off the internet and go skiing!

4FRNT, Aramada, AND LINE all use Rockwell edges. This is nothing new. Why don't you try and explain what makes your skis so durable that they'll last 3 years?

well spinks you unfornutately answered my question: the warranty doesn't cover edge damage due to rails. Im happy I didnt get a pair b/c of this. I'm still interested in the future however because of the 3 year warranty.
