Liberty Lte's or Armada T-halls?

Hey, I like butterish, light skis and i can't really decide between the T-hall or the Lte... I made some questions that I could not find anwers on:

- Which one is faster?

- Which one is the lightest?

- Which one is better outside the park?

- Which one is the most butterish?

- Which one has the best durability?

- Which one is the skinniest (Like how wide the ski is under the boot)?

I ski about 90% park, and 10% trees. When im in the park I ski about 60% jumps and 40% rails.

Just tell me wich one is better and the difference between them. +K if I get good anwers!

both are really great skis i would choose the t halls though based on my expierience with the ar7 wich is the same ski just stiffer. Pm me if you have questions on the ski

1. i know armada has a pretty fast base. but the liberty's have a sintered base.

2.both extreamly light skis, bamboo skis are known to be light.

3/4.there both non non sym. but which ever is stiffer probably is better out side the park. i know the t-hall;s are pretty buttery.

5.t-hall's are extreamlt durable. but i dont know about the lte's. I heard that the bamboo can snap.

6. liberty's are 80 under foot. armada's range from 84 to 87 unbder foot.

hope that helped

Are they fast? Are they butterish? And is it easy to spin and do switchups faster because they are so light?

okay ltes underfoot change when sizes go up so from 80mm to 87. the bamboo/poplar core on the ltes makes the ski super light, poppy, responsive, and durable. the ltes are slightly slightly stiffer than thalls. the one thing with bamboo is that skis that have them tend to lose camber after a couple seasons. like my laroses (same ski as lte just softer from 08/09) after 2 seasons they have lost some camber and developed a bit of tip rocker. i have not ridden the thalls but i love the ltes

Thanks man! 2 seasons is definately enough durability for me. But the next question is, which size should I get? im 173 cm. I like a bit shorter skis, but im only 14, so I will get taller. So do you guys think I should get the 164, or the 171? Is there much difference between the 164 and 171?

Fast? yes.

Butterish? Medium. Stiff underfoot but very soft in the tips and tails. I don't notice too much of a difference when spinning or switching up

go with the 171s just because they are so light it makes the swing weight so low that you wont even notice, and the extra length to help stomp

the only thing i can say that i know for sure is that armada makes a bomb proof ski i have oine ski that i have been hitting 2 years worth of urban pplus like 3 days a week of skiing on them and that have held up great, i have only demoped liberty and been to theure head quarters, i tried the genomes they were great but in the long run idk, i dont know the lte's so my personal choice by company is armada.

Yeah ok.... I think ill go for the T-hall, but just one more question:

Which is lighter? The 171 LTE is 1525 gramms each ski? or together 1525? How heavy is the 171 T-hall?

XD Everybody says that... Lighter than the Abang I asume (which is 1800 gramms) but is it lighter than 1525 gramms?

lte! i love mine so much that ill probably just get them again when im in the market for a new pair, why would i mess with success?

Why should I rather get them? And, are they symmetrical? (If not, can i centermount them?)

Thx :)

I've heard great things about both. Just see which you can get a better deal on, and also try hand flexing some in a shop. Oh, and you can center mount any ski. And I would probably reccommend it for a park ski.Cheers

BUMP i have the same dilemma but this thread didn't really help... i have no way of testing/ seeing either ski
