the liberty antigen is new from liberty it has near symmetrical dimensions, symmetrical flex, medium stiffness, early rise in the tip and tail, camber underfoot, bad part is that it has an extruded base which is durable to handle abuse from rails but it will not hold wax well, comes in sizes 168, 176, and 184. it can handle all park features the larger sizes to handle jumps, super durable to handle abuse
the alphas and halos have "true" rocker shape like a rocking chair unlike the early rise that some skis say is rocker. like the antigen they have camber underfoot, not symmetrical, the alpha is stiff and has a race base which is based mainly for jumps but yet can still handle rails, the halos are softer so it will be more playful on rails than the alphas yet it can still handle jumps. the alphas and halos are more expensive than the antigen since the antigen is more of a price point ski (ski for someone who needs a cheap yet super durable ski for the park)
both liberty and armada are known for their super light skis and outstanding durability. the antigen is new for next year so wait and see about what people say ((yay or nay) most likely yay) i love liberty and armada they have great reputations as companies.
