Everyone else is looking at the fat liberty ski and saying that it looks similar to the surface skis, i think its funny because that means people aren't as stupid as they seem....

Transworld said that Mountain Creek's terrain park was the 'creme de la creme of jib parks.' DIRTY JERSEY! THATS FUCKING RIGHT!

 
The only thing is that the design of the liberty came before the design of the surface. Im sure they are different, but if someone copied of the other..well..

...then that's fucked. i am not trying to start shit here, but liberty i have a question... how long ago did you guys start working with revolution? cause when i saw your skis at the open they were skinny and flimsy, and now you have a fat ski, with that uses the exact same mold. i don't know what the cores are like, but yeah when did evolution become involved?

actually im not pissy that no one will give defi skis the time of day because people already have and im not looking for industry domination. Second of all of course finseven_co is gonna back surface because finseven and surface are connected.

of course i am backing both companies - i own finseven and surface. let's clear this up - we have been working w/ the utah ski/snowboard mfg. since the day the ski shapes were created, early last year. we have never had a skinny twin tip ski man. ever! we live in utah and have no need for anything skinny.

i got nothing but respect for anyone and everyone trying to create a job for themselves in our industry - why wouldn't we? can't complain when we get to ski 100+ days a year.

 
Why the hell would you even talk about this, they're two different companies, let each do its own, nobody is copying anybody else. plus, if you owned a small ski company, you would never copy another startup company, you would copy one of the bigger ones cause they have the money for better r & d. But nobody would do that either cause making your own design and trying that out is 90% of the fun of making your own skis.

WHO would rip of another ski design? its not like its stealing some CHEMICAL FORMULA from a drug company to use at a rival drug company. The boys at Liberty are smart enough to come up with their own design.

all it means is they out-sorced their R&D to a company they trusted could do a better job of Engineering a ski then they can at THIS time due to being a start up comp. being a start up comp yourself (DeFi) you need to chalk this up to a learning experiance, you don't have the knowhow of ski engeneering so have fun designing your own skis, from the sounds of how much shit your talking on surface skis for doing it, relize that now since you have done this you have to stand behind it and design you OWN skis no help, or are you just going to go back on your word again like with the website being up by now.

i would like to think that finseven and surface are related somehow they are owned by the sam person

a fine young gentleman who also owns and operates a lil place i like to call union boardshop

as far as revolution

i know that last year all the skis that came out of there were made on the same presses i dunno if they have more presses and molds i havent talked to them in quit sometime

what does this mean Defi?

'people aren't as stupid as they seem....' what does that mean? if they are not the same ski they are just simalar, and people say wow that tip on the liberty looks like the tip on the suface, that makes them not stupid? i don't get what the point of making this statment.
