check this out player haters. People are ragging on Liberty without even knowing the details. I was just chilling with Julien today, and learned tons about the company. First of all, the construction is bombproof, much better base than Ninthward, wood core, which is sick, considering my pocket rockets are foam garbage. The most important thing to know is that Liberty is totally grassroots; you cant compare their operation to Line or k2, or whatever. They made 500 pairs in their own press, so you know that they personally inspected every ski. Moreover, the dudes running the show are kids, like you and me. In my opinion this is a testament to their dedication and desire to succeed. now if only you haters would spend less time on NS and more time building the sport, we would have a dope showing...

I'd say give liberty a year or two to get everything mastered. I think they've got a good operation going, but it takes time to get the skis to a point of being rideable for the average person.

Actually, 3rd year liberty operating. Josh was just in the national office today, checking out the skis, all I can say is he looked like he was stoked!

exactly, I was stoked. Liberty is out getting things done. For anyone who has put in the time to organize an event, start a company, etc, it is super frustrating to read posts shitting on what you have dedicated yourself to. Why criticize those who are trying new things?

However, i want to make light of the fact that it is virtually impossible to compare the two companies, considering such factors as budget for R and D, market share etc. Liberty makes quality stuff. I wasn't convinced until I went to the canadian headquarters today, saw the product, and met the staff. I am now a firm believer in the operation, take my word, you will be blown away.

i think they should have picked a better name. nobody wants to ride a ski called the 'Liberty' it sounds like a chick ski

The right and power to act, believe, or express oneself in a manner of one's own choosing. I can't see how The name 'Liberty' sounds like a chick ski name. But anyway.....

People take shit way to seriously on here, anyone can say anything they want, and everyone who reads it seems to beleive it as the truth, staright from the mouth of god, i read it on newschoolers, it must be true! And people affliate random peoples comments with with other things, not just there personal opinion.

People need to grow up and figure out the truth for themselves, our society makes me sick, i hope everyone on here doesn't believe everything they read/hear/ or see in anytype of media, stop being so ignorant.

please ride on our skis before you bash on them.

we dont trash on other companies, we dont call other companies 'not core'. Skiing is not that negative.

Like the owners of Line, Ninthward, 4frnt, ect, we are just skiers making skis so we can try to support our skiing. There is so much sick product out on the market this year it is amazing. Skiing is so sick right now! I support every company and every person behind every company.

If you think there is tension between companies, come out to XGames or US Open and see all the athletes, reps, team managers, and other company people all getting along simply because we all share the love for the sport.

Ski because you want to. Ride the skis you think work the best for you, not because the majority of people on this site says they're cool.

Please, try our product before you bash it.

i finaly got to see the new libertys the other day and i am impressed, they are an extremely well built ski. you can tell that the people who make them care about what they are doing and feel pasionately about it. i was not a big suporter of them in the begining because their team guys were not the nicest people to me, but i think that liberty, can and will become a major player in the twin tip market in the next few seasons. once the skis get out there and people get to ride them i think that people will love them. i wish that more companys were more like liberty in the fact that they care about what they do so passionately (sp), they are in my oppinon a truly unique company, in that they do everything themselves, and have from the get go, no one got them out of the blocks or anything. all of their skis have been made by them and only them, and they deserve truck loads of credit for it.
