LIB TECHS

Quicksilver owns all this stuff

Rossi, Lib Tech, Gnu, Roxy, Bent Metal, and a few others I can't remember right now...

Mervin makes the Lib, Gnu, and what not but is all under the Quiksilver Umbrella.

from what i hear the point of the magnetraction is so you cant beat the shit outta the edges and still have edges. theyre really stiff but fuckin solid as fuck

ive heard that they are having problems with durability, recommending that people buy 3 of them. personally, im really interested in their product, but after seeing pairs with gnarly chips out of the topsheets i'll wait a year or two till they get their shite figure out.

but you have no reason to listen to me, cuz its not like i talked to the libtech guys this past weekend at the Banked Slalom or anything.

libtech is a snowboard company, so they want you to buy thier skis as if you were purchasing two snowboards. they only sell them in shops that carry snowboards too. pretty cool idea i think.

so, after i posted that... i rode them. and they have seriously changed the way i look at any other ski on the market.. the way they carve, on ANYTHING. they blast thru the chunder, and still love to go straight! have you ever carved hard enough to touch your hip, switch?! you will have when you ride these, insane switch control. feels sooo fucking good.

with that said, i am going to go to the factory here in the next couple weeks, and pick myself up a pair.

they will revolutionize the ski industry. NO DOUBT.

I meet the rep yesterday at my hill and the 08s looked really sick and he said he liked them alot. There a pretty stiff ski and the magna traction works pretty good. He also said they are coming out with a full line of skis but only one will feature magna traction. Another thing i found intresting was how he said the magna traction didnt affect rails at all...i thougfht for sure it would fuck shit up.
