Lib tech nas backwards vs armada alpha x

From what I have heard from a friend about the lib tech stuff is it is a very fun playful ski and the magna traction works very well on groomed and what not but the edges gets damaged very easily on rails due to fact it's kinda like a serrated knife. This is not from my first hand experience but from a friend and a guy from a local shop but they both seemed to share the same opinion on them so there must be some truth to the matter.

Demo'd the lib techs for a couple runs a few years back. Haven't rode their later models but I was VERY impressed with them. They hold an edge like no other its pretty crazy how well they work.

I didn't take them into the park though but they struck me as more of an all mountain charger than a park ski with the edges.

Idk about the Lib Techs, but I can vouch for the Alpha X. It makes for an awesome 1 ski quiver on the East coast. If you want something that can rip groomers, handle fresh snow, and hold it's own in the park then it would make a good ski for you. It's geared more as an all mountain ski, but I ski them almost exclusively in the park and have enjoyed them.

I will say however, as I made clear in the "What the heck Armada?!" thread, that Armada skis aren't the most integral skis on the market. If you ski them hard I wouldn't expect much more than a season or two out of them.
