it has A LOT to do with it. Your center of gravity when you are short is much lower so you have better balance on rails when it is important to be lower to the ground. Also, when you are small it is much easier to ball up and stay compact in the air. There is a reason most of the top jibbers are little guys (meaning 5'8 or less). When you are 6'4 like Liam, every little imperfection is magnified as well.

 
^yeah, double daffy is right... Rails are definitly easier if your shorter... lower center of gravity and such, it's physics you learned about it in highschool... haha

 
I like his style on rails, primate steeze can be fun and looks good, but standing straight up makes it look alot smoother and easier. Well done Liam.

coming from someone whos 6'3", u'll try pretty much anything to make urself look shorter. Thats why liam always wears huge baggy shit and thats probly why he hunches over on rails. If ur as tall as liam(or I) people look at u and just assume u cant be very good at skiing cuz its clearly dominated by shorter people. They just assume u play basketball or somethin.

like Ldo said himself, you won't know what its like to be tall, well, unless ur tall. but if you are short and are hating, thats not right. its so much harder to balance, let alone get away from forced steeze when you are over 6 feet. you can tell the skill of guys like olenick and Ldo when they totally slay rails that you short kids can just hop on, and not worry about shit. im not hating on the short kids, cuz they rip, but its a whole different game when you are mad tall, and also have a 2 foot dick, cuz that pulls u over

I really can't understand how people can hate on downey, if you compare him sliding a rail to anyone else on the same rail, he makes it look uber smooth and slow.
