Lg shine?

Yeah basically I was at six flags the other day and lost my phone on superman. So now I need to buy a new phone and was looking at the shine. does any one have it and if so what do you think about it? it got mixed reviews on the att site so i was just wondering what ns though. Otherwise if there are any better phones through att to get what are they?
 
its a good phone, i am satisfied with mine. the only bad thing i can say about it is that if youre a really fast texter there will be some lag and you might have to take it a bit slower, but thats only if youre typing something reasonably long. the phone is a tank, ive dropped mine numerous times that resulted in a few scratches and nothing more, it sounds good, it has nice weight to it, and it just feels nice to hold, it has a good camera, the buttons are nice, and it has an incredibly nice hi res screen. id say go for it if you want a phone that is good for calling and texting, iam not sure if att has mp3 player software on the phone, but i know that telus has it, so for me it is a do everything phone.
 
dude what kind of phone you looking for. id say the lg vx8700 or 8300 if you want durableness
 
haha the lg vx 8700 is the shine, verizon just has their phones under different names from the rest of the planet
 
Don't get the shine. They're dope at first, but slowly they start to malfunction and fuck up. Maybe I'm just hard on phones but by 4 months or so mine became the most annoying piece of shit ever.
 
what did you do to yours, or what started happening, ive had mine since october and its held up fine, the keypad has gotten alittle separated from the phone part, but i did play tetris on my phone for about 6 hours on a bus ride. Other than that my phone has been great.
