LG Dare or LG Voyager

alright so after 5 years of my industructable phone im finally gettin a new one, and im deciding between these two and money is really not an issue, so which would you get? and why?
 
do not get the 6900, it is garbage. i work at a cell phone store and we stopped selling them since so many were returned, plus windows mobile is trash. its fine on computers, but on a cell phone it is horrible. choosing between the dare and the voyager is tough, the voyager had a full keypad inside which is nice to type on, but its kind of a fat phone. if you use data and go on the internet a lot i would say dare, but if you email from your phone a lot, then voyager. a lot of it comes down to which one you like better in your hand and in your pocket. personally i would go with the dare just because the voyager is thick and i dont like wearing a hip case
 
voyager. i got it and love it. thhe dares internet is alllll fucked up and texting whil driving, while drunk, and just texting period is a pain in the ass with it
 
texting while driving can be a pain in other peoples being-alive, you shouldn't do it, regardless of your phone.

And I'm actually getting a new verizon phone soon too. I'm looking at the Voyager and the Samsung sch-i760. Texting without looking would be pretty much impossible on the Dare. And I've seen that the touch screen isn't the best in reviews. Also, it's not pressure sensitive so you can't use a stylis, which I like. I'm leaning toward the i760, because it seems good for me. It really all depends on your personal preferences.
 
well im more of an adventurer rather than one to do daring things, so..................................go with the iphone
 
def the DARE. I got one just the other day and its sick. Texting on it is super easy in my opinion, you can use the tap method or turn it sideways and it turns into a QWERTY style keypad. the touch screen also works great. If i were you i would go to http://www.phonescoop.com and read all the reviews befor you buy thats what i did. last i checked they had a video review of the DARE too
 
if i can shed some light on the voyager...

my brother has one, and he likes it. From what I can see cosmetically, it gets little chips around the edges, which is common for alot of phone especially LG..but holding it, i dont really like it. It's heavy and bulky and weird shaped, and super thick, and ive never been a fan of the qwerty keyboard either. the touch screen is cool but i hate scrolling on it unlike the iphone which is soooo smooth in both selecting and scrolling.

ive never seen a dare in person but they look sick

my cousin nate runs a phone store and from what he's told me, get a blackberry. ya dig?

 
verizon doesn't do blackjacks, and if you get a blackberry, you have to pay extra for a blackberry plan
 
i have the voyager and i like it. you can use the touch screen for quick stuff and when you want to type out longer the qwerty is nice. i love the phone though

 
LG make the shittiest phones ever. i unfortuantly bout a chocolate, and it fucked up within 2 months. i wasnt hard on it at all. so i bought a shine. the battery wouldnt hold a charge for more than one phone call.

they have lost my buisiness.
 
im getting a dare. my friend has the voyager he loves it, but i think its too bulky. id go with the dare.
 
Get the dare, one of my friends has the dare and another the voyager. The Dare is much more user friendly, and the texting is better then the voyager.
 
possibly my least favorite phone ever. nearly impossible to type on without using your fingernails, and the touchscreen is mediocre, as is the os
 
i surely like my blackjack. i would recommend it.

you can get some pretty good deals on them too, i got a unlocked blackjack for 120 shipped.
 
id say voyager, texting with a touchscreen is a bitch imo, i have the voyager and i like it alot, i wouldn't enjoy a phone that is all touchscreen.
