ahhh! I bet! I built a summer set up last summer and I plan to take full advantage of it this summer! I'm so excited! And usually people wouldn't be so excited about not landing something but fuck I am so happy I tried it instead of going until next winter wishing I would have!

Ahh yeah I feel you! There are so many things I wish I went for this season but oh well. I am working on my summer set up. I just need turf and a rail and I'm set. I'll be right there with you trying to learn new trick on it.

Grabbed Stalefish for the first time last weekend. Not uploading to NS because it's sort of clumsy and the lighting sucks, but here it is:

Learned switch on front swaps and switch on front 2's today. Fucking stoked as hell! Thinking about throwing a backie onto an airbag tonight.

Yeahhhhhh!!

Ooh I've got one that might help someone out there. I finally figured out how to grab mute consistently. For the last 2 years I've really sucked at getting that grab, and I finally figured out what I was doing wrong. I always thought you had to bring your knee straight up, but doing that makes it hit your rib cage and then your arm is barely in reach of your ski edge.

The key seems to be to tilt your knee outwards like you would if you were about to sit on the ground cross legged. Doing this, rather than pulling your leg straight up, lets you get your opposite foot/ski closer to your hand and suddenly the grab is about 10 times easier.

Also watching Jake Muller tutorials has made my switch skiing not suck nearly as much. I'm starting to get a much better staggered stance, and I've stopped trying to link turns and am just trying to get good at blasting down the fall line and then throwing a quick speed scrub without going off course. Link shows my stance improvement: http://imgur.com/a/jPXNv

I've increased my field of view significantly.

Fuckkk. I can't get a stance like that for the life of me. When I stand like that, my hips open up and I just turn/catch an edge and I die.

I know that edge catch pain.

What's been helping me is switching to my wider all mountain skis, because they have some rocker and are less likely to hook on me going switch, overall they are just more forgiving, which is has given me a huge confidence boost to really exaggerate that stagger and point down the fall line. On the downside, it's making it really hard for me to not smear the crap out of my 180's (specifically switch 1's). Spins have been looking looking like crap. I think I need to just take the training wheels off and go back to my full camber park skis now that I'm feeling more confident.

Spent a couple days at Loon this weekend! My homie Tweak got this shot of me stallin on this side hit/mound of snow/quarter pipe/butter thing haha. So much fun!!!

Also hit some down rails that weren't ride on!!! Actually had to jump on from the side and it took a few(aka a lot) of tries but I made it to the end!! So now I've got the confidence to hit down tubes and flat bars!! which is kind of huge for me because my home hill literally doesn't have that, so to be able to try them was so cool for me! We filmed a little bit too so hopefully they get an edit together or something!!

AHH I AM SO STOKED GUYS WOO!!!

First day on the summer set up for the season!! ahh sucks we don't have anymore snow but this is sort of a nice substitute.

I'm really sad for you east coasters. I don't know how you guys handle such short seasons. At least I can drive up to whistler when the snow gets really low here in Washington, but our season doesn't typically end until cinco de mayo and then our higher mountains can keep going for limited ops all the way till June or July if it's a good season. This was yesterday:https://gfycat.com/PertinentQuestionableBird March is a good month for snow, it still dumps but a lot of people have started their spring hobbies so the mountains are less crowded.

Maybe you can get another trip out west before the season ends. Lift tickets and accommodations start to get pretty cheap around now, especially if you go up to Canada and get the exchange rate discount. Nice summer setup.

I've been stuck in a plateau for a couple of years now and today I finally broke out of it!! Was feeling super confident today (and I lil buzzed) and landed my first switch 180. Got a few new grabs and FINALLY attempted a front flip. I've been saying I was gonna flip for years now so I'm hyped I finally went for it. I think next time I go I'll be able to land it and might try to add a spin to it.
