Before everyone starts yellin search bar at me, I saw the other post but it was to cluttered and didnt have the info I am looking for, I also find a brought back to life post with a million posts, no one reads my post so Ill make a new one.

I am getting one for Christmas and want to know if I can use my itunes to put music on it? And how do people like them now?
 
The new green one from Verizon? idk the model number or anything I dont have it yet. Not till Santa brings it
 
No you can't use iTunes to put music on it. Cingular is the only company that lets you do that with the ROKR and the SLVR. I think those are the only two phones.
 
How many text messages can this phone hold? Anyone know? I hate having to delete them every two days.
 
haha u cant put music into chocolate; are you crazy? Why don t you buy a cell phone that is compatable with I tunes?
 
Im sorry, but I don't recall ever trying to be funny or saying I was funny or anything like that. I was just helping him put his searchbar into a searchbar so he could download some searchbar onto his searchbar.

I don't mind the phone, takes some time to get used to it but its not bad. It holds 50 txt messages and i tried to sync it with i tunes but it gave me an error.
 
I heard the controlls for the mp3 player are kinda fucked.

if you dont already have a plan with verizon, and you want a badass phone, I suggest looking on www.yesasia.com for a phone which will work with AT and T, T mobil, or Cingular.
 
Ok i had it too. It really sucks. if u play one song on the mp3 menu u cant switch to another song u have to go one step back and choose song again. Picture quality isnt too good either. The battery doesnt last long at all. you should get a nokia or a sony ericsson
 
I don't have the phone but a friend does and he hates it. The touch sensitive buttons don't work all the time, so thats a PITA. Also, the end call button is on the side of the phone, right where a stray finger could easily hit it while talking on the phone. Overall just a poor design.
 
All I want to know is why you would first comment about the searchbar and then KEEP COMING BACK to a thread you obviously dont care about to tell them to use the searchbar again. Just curious.
 
weird...my chocolate has a circular center thingy and less red buttons...older model?

all i know is i have had it for....4 months now that can't wait for my 2 year contract to be over. so many cons

Yeah the chocolate is alright...if you don't mind it dialing random phone numbers in your pocket or whenever you hit a button. and dont mind pisspore battery life . Wish I got the Nokia
 
if you have a choice check out the Sony Erricson W810i. Has a ton of amazing features (4gig MP3 player, 2MP camera) and its a great design and solid construction.
 
Is that Verizon? My mom is getting Verizon for the family and hookin me up. Also I know they came out with a new flip phone recently, is that it?
 
the chocolate is a terrible phone, but an ok MP3 player... it gets really bad reception, and the touch sensitive buttons are realllly sensitive and get annoying
 
yea i know a few people with the chocolate and it sucks.. if the phone is in their pocket is just calls people randomly all the time.. and by all the time i mean like at least once every hour... so thats super annoying... its a pretty cool looking phone but not worth the money in my opinion.. also the camera sucks on it
 
the buttons to text with are way too small and you end up pressing wrong buttons most the time. also the directional arrown and stuff on the slider part are not buttons, they are touch-sensors. and they only register you touching them about 1/3 of the time.
 
i've had it for awhile and i haven't had any of the problems anyone is takling about...my touch sensor things are fine, and calling people randomly while it's in your pocket? ummm...maybe it you leave it slid open in your pocket it'll do that...and maybe if the buttons are too small, you fingers are just too fat for them.

i can't really comment on the mp3 player dealy since i'm too lazy to really look into it.
