alright, so i own some swany gloves that i absolutely love, but they keep getting soaked. i was thinking about getting some level's or possibly some leki gloves. does anyone have experience with these gloves? i am looking for something that wont be soaked at the end of the day.

thanks

i got a pair of level gloves and mittens. i got the xrace since i raced and they are sick. they are not watterproof but for a day you dont need waterproofing they are awesome. super comfy

i have a pair of their mittens. I think they're pretty waterproof, but havent really had to test them yet. Definitely take the liners out every night though or else they wont dry out and thats just nasty.

Hey...I work at Level gloves; sorry for not hitting you back earlier...it's been crazy. Depending on the climate, we offer models that emphasize waterproofing and others that don't. The following models have full waterproof membranes: Matrix, Falcon, Los Angeles (LA), Portland, New York City. They all rock. For more info go to www.levelusa.net

i got a pair of the x-types and i like em a lot, they are all leather, and super comfy but i dont think they are waterproofed as much as you need them to be, but def pick up some level gloves, super nice

Why do you love them if you keep getting soaked?

Anyway... my levels are comfy and warm... and they actually fit well... but I wouldn't say they're the most waterproof things ever out here on the west coast. And the palm print stuff comes off sort of easily if you're one of those people who skis with poles. They're good though... I think I'm going to pick up a pair of Marmots for next season.

i have the level sixties they are all leather so if you go digging around in the snow they obviously get a bit wet but not soaked through. they are super comfy and warm. i just dont TRY to get them wet.

yo, some level gloves have their waterproof gore like membrane and some don't, I got the Xtype gloves and they leak water like a sive, they still stay warm, are super comfy, and have awesome dexterity, but def. not waterproof, or really even water resistant, i wore them on a couple big pow days and i could wring them out by the end, granted it was pretty wet snow, but still, not that cool.... i got some leather waterproofer for gloves by nikwax, and they are better, but still not fantastic, you should get a pair of level's higher priced gloves that come w/ the membrane, then you'll be set

sweet, thanks for all the help. and the reason i liked my swany's is because they are the most comfortable gloves ever. they fit really well, but lately i think the waterproofing has been wearing off and i have been getting soaked.

has anyone else tried using the nikwax stuff to make gloves waterproof?

how well does it work?
