Level 1 teams up with absinthe films

not really but im proposing the idea that a top ski film company team up with a top snowboard company. its time that we join with the snowboarders to make our soprt even cooler. if you are scepticle then you should watch picture this or optimistic and you will realize how unbelievably sick snoboarders are

maybe msp and absinthe... I htink youre thinking of mack dawg or oooh sugar shack or think thank would be epic.
 
yeah, today i watched apples and oranges and it was so dope. they were doing helicopter filming for the pipe, it was so sick. msp should do something like that.
 
these are the best matches in my mind just cause they're somewhat similar.

isenseven + field = euro dream movie.

mdp + level 1 = filming/editing madness.

 
i think absinthe and poor boyz would work really well together. they have pretty similar styles and both are dope companies. think about putting more and war together...
 
oh man mack and level1 would be the dirtiest film ever. no amount of soap could bathe that kind of nastiness. im serious nigga MFM needs to take a shower.
 
I couldn't agree more with isenseven and field, but I've always seen mack dawg as poor boyz. Granted Picture this changed my mind a little bit, I feel like there would be better matches with level 1. Check out Alterna Films' movie Apples and Oranges. I think Alterna would fit level 1 much better
 
correct me if I'm wrong, but I think Standard Films is already associated with MSP. Every year both companies have shots on the exact same features, filmed the exact same way, only that their snowboarders instead of skiers.

also i think you guys are confused on absinthe and alterna films.

absinthe made OPTIMISTIC this year and standard made APPLES AND ORANGES, i might be wrong though
 
yea level 1 filmed some urban shots with nc, and nc has also done some stuff with rage before in the past

no, no. they hit the utah booter in Realtime with Aaron Biitner and Jakob Wilhelmson, which would be Mack Dawg. those are two of the dopest snowboarders alive....

i honestly don't see the people producing ski and snowboard movies going in the direction of collaborating like that, just cuz of money and sponsors, etc.... oh ya, and the fact that the majority of the snowboard industry hates skiing... not all snowboarders necessarily, but the "snowboard industry"
 
true but thats changing fast it seems like, snowboarders are beginning to appreciate what skiers are doing. give a couple of years and i bet most of the hate will go away
 
yeah optimistic was SOOO sick and picure this was pretty dope, but i didnt like it that much, i hated the pipe seggy with Shaun and that other guy, if you want to watch a really sick movie check out Apples and Oranges, I bought it over break and its soo good, ive pretty much stopped watching ski movies just because i can steal all of my friends snowboarding movies, they have such a better vibe

i highly doubt that would work.

realtime is so street/park oriented... most of optimistic? was very big mountain oriented.
 
why the hel do you people keep pushing for this kind of shit?

the only films that come remotely close to joining the two successfully are those by TGR. the snowboard industry continuously hates on skiing and you all want to join up? sure a couple of snowboard companies are begining to make skis but does that mean they really care about skiing, or are they just afraid of losing money to ski companies when people quit snowboarding?

seriously, if you want to watch snowboarding, BUY A SNOWBOARD FILM!!!
