Anyone interested in a Level 1 premiere again? Any ideas on new spots? Would more people come to a free premiere if it was at a place like Boston MIlls? Might not be a rowdy though!
You should just do one at Perfect North Decker. I bet you would draw a pretty large crowd of kids. Not to mention we could hit the bars after and try and top that night at snowtrails.
I'd be real stoked to do one down there. I know there is a huge scene down there, I've been down to one of the FP premiers back in the day at the open house, pretty good turnout. Do you know of a cheap indy theater down that way?
Well, theres the Greendale cinema, which is sort of owned by Perfects. But one that would be like, perfect, is the Walnut, which is in downtown Lawrenceburg, but I'm not sure if it's open still. I can check it out and see for sure. It's just an old time theater with one screen and can probably hold 100-150 people.
came VERY close to doing it last year, just comes down to being expensive and it would be like $15 a ticket and would still need a halfway decent turnout. Otherwise I'll be pan handling the streets of cleveland to pay off the iMax
fuck what about up in akron at the old time theater in highland square kyle? would be a interesting turn out and a pretty good location for a lot of ppl to show up. bars are close for those old enough to consume legally... what you think?
Hey guys, The Jiberish crew is helping us put on the Midwest Ski Film Festival in Milwaukee www.mwsff.com is our website. They plan on bringing an RV out with a bunch of athletes. In addition Kyle is driving out with another crew. This is going to be the biggest party in the Midwest. Plenty of couch floor space at our house for anyone who makes the drive, its going to be a great time. We have a ton of free gear to give away too, you will not leave empty handed.
I'd be stoked on that. I haven't watched those movies backed to back in years. Problem is, I don't know too many people that would want to watch through 4 hours straight of ski films. ha
Yeah I mean i can't speak really for anyone else but I know I would definitely love to see them all back to back and top it off with refresh. Those movies get me more stoked to ride than any movie from any major film company. It was just an idea but I think it would definitely be sick.
I am working on Sunday October 18th (Sunday of BMBW open house). All the dates for Thurs, Friday, Saturday at the Kent Stage are booked for October... We've done Sunday premieres before and didn't cause too much of a problem, I'll just have to make the time earlier.. (4ish)
As far a website, http://www.level1productions.com. Check out the calender on the right side of the site. As soon a I officially book a date, I'll update it on the site and post here in the regionals...
Glad you guys are super stoked for this, cause so am I!!!
