Yea. So this week is their first week and the way I understand is they are doing a film and podcast everyweek till they chronicle all 20 films.

Can't believe they are calling it quits.

they are not calling it quits....just moving away from all the restrictions that come to being tied to a annual film release. Now they have opportunities to spend a lot more time exploring other ways to deliver A+ content. SuperUnknown isn't going anywhere either

as far as the podcast goes, a little bummed its only Soundcloud/spotify and not apple podcasts cuz I like to archive all my podcasts there, but not a big deal. Stoked to listen to it next 1.5 time chunk I get

I did earlier today.

Its a great opportunity to be able to see all the films and learn how things evolved over the years.

anyone who hasn't watched "balance" and listened to the podcast needs to do so, it's really cool how josh explains how level 1 started and what was going on in the ski industry at that time.

out of the 3 current options that L1 chose, its pretty reasonable to prefer apple podcasts out of the others....for music I'm not a Spotify subscriber, so using that for podcasts is off the table, and for soundcloud why would I make/maintain a separate account/app for just one podcast, when all of my others are synced/automatically managed in a no hassle built in way/vs having to make yet another account. I understand why someone obviously wouldn't use apple podcast if they don't have apple stuff, but regardless do you have another suggestion?

Get off iPhone and macOS that's my only suggestion lol idk sounds like the podcast is on apple so you should be fine. Could listen through your computer as well.

But if I were to leave where would I collect/sync all my podcasts too? Also I listen to podcasts 95% when I’m out and about so computer wouldn’t really work for me personally, but yeah thats an easy way to listen to the soundcloud link. The only portable solution I can think of is overcast but I tried it and it doesn’t quite compare to apples offerings

Although I feel like podcast syncing tools is a separate thing from apple vs pc/android

Those podcasts are likely also on the other software. Never used apple podcasts with no intention of ever trying, but Spotify is super easy to use and organize podcasts and the new update makes it even easier
