It was a windy October day, the year was 2007, we trekked over the rail. As it glimmered in the clouds of Grand Rapids, none other than the skierjohn himself built up what to this day would be known as the most pristine lip of all time. As he glided over the quad kink in steeze fashion it was obvious that he had just accomplished the greatest feat in the history of the crew. (See att hacked photo, don’t know how to embed.) It was evident at this point that the crew was going places, we had just achieved pro level. Sponsors were bound to come. We signed up for hookit.com immediately that day.
Fast forward to today. It was a rainy day. I was watching level 1’s new era webisode on Vimeo.com when none other than the edollo himself had greased the rail multiple years later. (See attached photograph.) As the team manager of the skierjohn crew I could not be more baffled by this notion. How could a pro skier of such high regard such as Joshua Berman, snub the skierjohn in such a fashion?
Oh well, the crews not mad. were still having fun. doing fronflips in shit, shuffles with our friends you know. but we were there first.
