LEVEL 1 AFTERDARK

really dude?

Ahmets elbow rail to burly big step wood tranny, super disaster over walk way to down rail on freeway overpass, wall ride to neg cement tranny at 1:27 and powder skiing into a rock ride flip out ?? Other that people have mentioned too, obviously like Henriks opposite QP transition. This trailer had like 5 to 6 WTF I haven't seen that in skiing before, shots. Level 1 absolutely slaying!

people are mad because torstein got credited for doing a triple cork when it was really an incredibly less impressive triple back flip with a 180. so really its a completely different situation as any non-gaper jackass would be able to tell.

It really wasn't spectacular... maybe it was the way it was edited or the song used but it didn't get me nearly as pumped as Level 1's previous trailers had.

Play the trailer to this.

If you time it right, it works. Trust me.

The Urban looked awesome, but I don't know this trailer wasn't as good as the other ones. I'll still end up buying the movie just saying.

I really hope the movie lives up to the trailer. I felt the trailer for Eye Trip portrayed it to be a bunch of fast paced, kind of epic segments, when none of the segments ended up being anything like the trailer. I'm not saying it needs dubstep or electronic music to make it good, I just think the the segments with alot of cool shit should have more epic music to make them more exciting. In Eye Trip some people thought the Sun Valley segment was the best part, but I personally thought it was one of the worst because the song bored me. I love alot of Sabbath music, I just didn't think it fit in very well. I have no doubt this will be a great movie, I just hope Level 1 does a better job picking their music

In all honesty I think you might have missed some of the shots in this trailer. I'll agree most of the backcountry shots are your average backcountry skiing, its kind of hard to progress backcountry as quickly as park and urban since you have to be careful of the terrain you are skiing due to natural hazards. That being said the rock jib to underflip (I think) was super creative.
I think level 1 is trying to shy away from the whole spin to win trend and get into more creative features, this could be why you think they are not bringing anything new. Where else have you seen a flat 1 or a 15 foot drop to wallride out? I know the quarter pipe jump thing (at 1:08) has been done before but you don't see features like that all the time or people going that big off of them.
The urban in this trailer is pretty crazy, once again I see level 1 being more creative with the features instead of just having people huck bigger and bigger tricks, like it has been stated above Ahmets 270 then riding out switch on the stairs was pretty different from most things I have seen. There was also gapping the walkway to a down rail, it may be similar to some of the down rails seen in park shoots from realtime but its so much gnarlier in an urban environment. The wallride at 1:47 seemed to have a huge drop off of it at the end probably nearing 20 feet, thats pretty high for such a small landing. The gap to tapping the garbage bin was pretty sick imho but some people may not like that style. The sun valley jump may not have a much bigger gap then in previous years but they get so much much air and it looks like its pretty kicky for a jump that size. And the last rodeo to complete flat has huge, that shit takes serious guts.
Its cool if you don't like the trailer, not everyone has too but saying that it does not show progression is a bit ignorant, people don't have to be spinning 1800's to show progression, being creative is a better way than spin to win in my opinion.

The 270 on the urban was him. Look for green bingings just before dadali does that huge air gap to urban down rail

reminds me of the ski version of Modern Collective (surf movie) cool footage with weird sci fi filler

you're a fucking moron that really doesn't understand half the shit you're seeing or have seen. reading your crappy posts is about as painful as listening to a room full of new jersey gapers watching the x-games.

that's all that needs to be said about you.

no, people on such an impressive level of ignorance and stupidity, such as yourself, don't deserve it. talking to you any further would be like getting into an argument with someone who believes the earth is flat.

I totally agree with Real Skifi being more creative, those kids just kill. Not sure about nipwitz or traveling circus, I find especially TC hits regular rails they just do creative tricks on them instead of hitting creative rails. I know there are some exceptions but in all honesty TC is more park/rails oriented than urban.
MSP park shoots are pretty weak, I don't really think competitive athletes such as bobby and gus make the best segments, they just don't have a unique style. I think P White, Chris Logan and JF have better park segments because of their style. MSP has super good big mountain riding but I would never say they have the best park shoots, just my opinion though.
I know some of this stuff has been done before, with how quickly skiing is progressing its hard to have a film of only things that have never been done before. What Level 1 is doing is taking all the creative stuff that may have been done in various webisodes and maybe even other ski movies but putting it into one movie while adding some things that have never been done before.

I think it was very spectacular. The music was was mysteriously eeri, bringing about a feeling of the Dark. The features were very creative and interesting for me, furthar enhances by superb editing. Lost of different elements in this trailer, and I know the movie will be amazing!! Nice work Josh, Kyle, Freedle and all of the L1P crew and riders!! #WakeUp9911 for sure!!

The shots were definitely more creative than past trailers. Most of the park features I have never seen before (at least to that size). I have never seen the reverse hip and im pretty stoked for it.

i can absolutely guarantee you, there are an exorbitant amount of things that will be in the movie that have NEVER been done on skis before.

plus wall ride to redirect, flat 180, rock jib underflip, and nosebutter 270 into a fucking QUAD kink are all things i have never seen before.

you're either ignorant, or just plain stupid.

you dont have to wait long, just about 22 minutes, and This Teaser was nice to get right before, Delormes triple was lovely!

so stoked for this movie, urban is gonna be top notch once again and i am soooooo fucking stoked for ahmet's segment. best part in eye trip, probably gonna have the best part in after dark too.

We are all aware that Henrik was not in this trailer and is not the only individual that rides for ninthwardSig does too...pretty sure that was him

No, it wasn't. As I said before, (except last time with Niklas) Sig does not film with Inspired (that was an Inspired tall tee) nor does Sig wear Salomon outerwear. That was definitely Henrik.

Fuck. Harlaut most definitely is in this trailer. Just because he filmed with Inspired this year doesn't mean he didn't film with Level 1 at all. My guess is he only went to the park shoots but whatever. Most ridiculous trailer I've ever seen, so stoked for P White and Chris Logan, Ahmet, Bellemare, Wallisch... Fuck nevermind stoked for everyone, mind blown

He's definitely going to have shots, but he was hurt and filmed a bunch with 4bi9...
