Level 1 After Dark World Premiere 9/9/11

Movie was insane. Such a fun time. And the guy standing next to me got kicked out right before the movie starts. Sucked for him, he missed a great movie.
 
Ya there were a few morons too drunk to stand before we even got in. They missed out, movie was great.

I loved the Russia scene, never seen anything like that in a ski film.
 
I thought it was amazing. My favorite parts that I can remember right now were Rainville, Sun Valley, Wiley, Ahmet, and Logan Imlach had some sick shots.
 
man was anyone else not that impressed? Don't get me wrong, there was some really sick shots but I just wasn't that stoked on it for some reason...idk maybe it's just me
 
I liked it, but I wasn't knocked down either. Parker was ill, Ahmet had another good seg, and I loved the compton/imlach/wesson segment. Some other highlights, but I dunno...I agree with a lot of other people's take on it.
 
no the guy i saw get kicked out wasn't in a level 1 shirt but yeah a lot of people that couldn't handle their alcohol. i guess thats what happens when you start a movie at 10:30.

the russia segment was great. really neat with the local people shots and the scenery. powder segments were really cool. got me pumped for my first season with hills bigger than 300 feet vertical. park segments were hit or miss. some creative features with the same big jumps.

movie got me more stoked than turbo did.
 
The intro and first half of the movie were outstanding, seriously I thought this was some of the best editing, best riding, and best feel for a ski movie ever.

However, after the Russia segment (which was great) and Wallisch's segment the movie definitely started to go down hill. Not sure if they ran out of time for the second half, or what but I was a little disapointed by the second half.

The last segment should always be real strong and I didn't feel that was the case.

Regardless, a great movie and one that I'll buy simply due to the strength of the first 30 or so minutes.
 
Didn't quite realize who I was talking about. The statement still stands, I always imagined Harvey to be a very different person than who I saw on friday.
 
movie had some good parts sucked for the most part i wouldn't waste my money and buy it buy it and also Berman way to steal a shit load of songs from OFS media not only ofs but from the same movie.
