hey, im looking for a lightweight metal that is also very durable, it needs to be cheap too, well kinda if u cna, i need to for a frame im making....i know titanium, but thats expensive, i heard that if you make a metal like cover and then fill it with foam it is durable, im sure u guys have no fuckin idea, but its worth a shot

no lightweight AND durable metals are cheap. Aluminum can be strong if done right, and it is lighter than some other metals.

Maybe carbon fiber, but that isnt cheap...

check out .243 racing or the new Norco 250cc. Both bikes are steel frames, not overly heavy and super fucking durable.

To make aluminum durable you need to be able to weld like a mother fucker because it's not an overly strong material. Check out 24 Bicycles or any freeride kona to see what you need in terms of welds for aluminum.
