Lets Talk Hockey (NHL)

Canucks are looking good.. I was at the Kings game, good first and third period. Second period was a trap-fest though.
 
its all good with the caps this season (with or without ovie which i think was proven) and oh yeah did anyone catch the number they did on the said aves?
 
The Canucks are a boring hockey team to watch. I'm from Vancouver, and I don't like them. Capitols on the other hand are fucking awesome. Such an offensive team and always skating hard. I'm hyped to see them play the nuck's tonight, maybe some of their offensive hockey will rub off on Vancouver.

Only two teams in the Western Conference (LA and SJ) have scored more goals than the Canucks.

In addition, we have the 3rd best Power Play and are finally returning to a healthy line up.

I agree they could play more tempo, but with so much invested in a goalie its better to grind out 2-1, 3-2, etc results than get into a huge shoot-out to keep their confidence and sense of necessity up.

 
im from DC, and all i got to say is whats good with those caps? oh yeah, best team in the league. simeon varlamov with 1 loss in regulation time. and ovechkin...
 
The Canucks are just a cursed franchise. Ie, wednesday, I'm listening to the radio and Pratt as usual gives you his two top picks to bet on for sportsaction and he goes "take the canucks, they're 13-4-0 at home and the Ducks are last in the conference, it's a gift!" And I said out loud, "Yeah but it's the CANUCKS. Never bet on the Canucks." And what do you know, they laid an egg and lost the game.

I watch every Nucks game and have lived with the disappointment for too many years, I know by now what to expect.

I'm an Avs fan, have been since 2000 (kindergarten). I just want to say this to all the panelists, fans of other teams, and especially the canucks...TAKE THAT MOTHERFUCKERS.
Also, does anyone else hate Pierre McGuire with a burning passion?
 
I'm a Duck's player all the way, some really sick players, Getzlaf, Perry, Neidermeyer, Ryan, Selanne, and two starting worthy goalies, but fuck they haven't been able to pull it together this year. Hoping for the best though.

The Av's have been playing really unreal though, it's sweet to watch cause Cody McLeod has been playing so good for still being a young guy and being from my home town and all. Such a sick player, going to have an unreal career. Props to him.

Btw, who caught the Caps vs Oilers game tonight, my god did Ovechkin dominate, brought em back from the 2-0 deficite.

Anyone just watch this Avs v. Canucks game...SOOO epic.. Ended in a shoot out win with the rookie Duchene sealing playoff birth for the avs. DAM am I excited for playoff hockey, its literally the most intense sporting event to watch haha
 
i'm happy the Av's clinched, and my beloved blackhawks set a franchise record in wins tonight. Today was an excellent day for hockey.
 
Flyers blow, it's been almost painful to watch some games. They won when I went to see my first NHL game at the wachovia center though so that was cool. We haven't been all bad we just seem like we're all over the place.

I'm surprised we held off toronto last night, I'll also be surprised if we can clinch a playoff spot. But we're the fuckin flyers, we always seem to make it in there somehow. Bring on the Rangers we need a fuckin win over here.
 
Although I like the PENS I am very disappointed about the fact that the CAPS swept them in the regular season series and I fucking hate Oveckin and the CAPS.. Most bullshit team in the league.
