Yup, that's all we need. No need for more forums, because then we'd need to move around the forums a lot more.
 
i like the idea of one thread for gear questions/ info (aka the 08-09 skis thread) and one for sales, trades, etc. I dont like the idea of making it a part of ppls profiles cuz then it will be too hard to make sales known
 
Not many people will go into a section that's dedicated to trading or looking to buy. If you put it together, it's more likely that people lookng to buy something specific will get noticed.

so therefore, we need a

Buy/Sell/Trade section

and

Gear Talk section
 
word, i think it could work, it might have to be tweaked a little if it became abused but i think most kids on ns would have the integrity to be legit about it
 
I think if there are any more than two new forums then they will become insufficiently active and people will take threads to other places to get more views. I say this because already if you need something answered fast it just goes to one of the tww main forums half the time. I see ski equip stuff in ski gabber all the time, where do you think all the WTB threads are gonna go if that forum only gets 500 views a week?

there should be a General Discussion section, for just basic talks, like pics of next years shit

Buy section

Sell Section

and "Help me choose a ski / coat / binding / whatever" section
 
I think a buy, sell, trade forum and then a gear advice forum would be good, and I really like the idea of every seller making a feedback thread and putting it into there sig....
 
I agree with splitting things up. I come to this forum looking for info about ski equiptment, and I always have to dig through all of the "for sale" and wtb crap.
 
Make a feedback forum, where each person has their own thread. It works great. It's so simple and effective and easy and clean and wonderful!

And! Just split the forum into two, I think. Gear Swap and Discussion... Cause its really not that hard to put FS or WTB or FT in front of your post. And make a sticky with rules and explaining this stuff to the noobs.

And then it'll be sick!
 
Is this going to happen, or are we just going to talk about it for awhile? I don't know what else there is to add.
 
Hah yeah its totally launching in a day or two. I actually just went through this thread like 4 days ago and made the call.

We're going with two separate forums, buy/sell/trade and gear talk. Super simple!
