Cool aspirations but… as stated by most others y’all should really put some more thought into this first.
1. I really doubt you guys have really done thorough research on the subject at you ages and only a years worth of “research”.
2. you should try and make some samples out of your garage first I’m sure you can fine some YouTube videos that might help point you in the correct direction or possibly see if any smaller “low key” core companies might be willing to give you pointers or advice. You never know one of them nigh be able to help point you in the right direction.
3. I know you’re both young an probably don’t have much in the way as for work or jobs but setting up a go fund me in this situation just comes of as entitled, you should have product samples before even thinking about a go fund me, especially with the amount of grammatical issues you have going on in the description. Just looks unprofessional and like you haven’t actually put the thought or effort into as you state.
4. Keep at it but maybe don’t ask for handouts from a community that isn’t necessarily rolling in dough to begin with, like ya there’s decent money in the ski industry but not necessarily the Newschoolers/freestyle ski communities.
5. if it’s something you really feel like you need to do try saving money where and when you can, get summer/part time jobs and put what you can into creating sample product and think of a business plan and take the initiative to do it without expectations of making money at the beginning. Your research will actually start when you start making stuff not when you started reading articles or watching videos.
