I have had it with this emo/tight pants bullshit that is circulating on this site. Personally, I think Surface is not emo by any means. Yah, maybe Blake wears slim fitting pants...but what about Becker?? The kid is hip hop man...that's his deal and it works for him. And this is only 2 of the people that are involved with Surface from the ground up.

Surface has a good mix of folks...

A friend once said, "It seems to me that snowboarding is more open-armed to new ideas, styles and people than skiing is..."

You can interpret that anyway you want, but I think it's a good statement...

i hate when people compare tight pants to being emo. i'm blaming it on the east coasters where all the white kids are into super big jerseys and super duper big jeans.

here in southern california, everyone wears the krew super slims, or the ruca rockers, or whatever... if you see a kid in bigger clothes they look out of place.

people are retarded.
 
First of all, not everyone on Surface wears tight pants. Second, its just a style. Basically its just saying that you don't want to wear over sized stuff and have your pants hanging off your ass. I mean, I wear pants that fit, not tight, not, baggy, and I get shit for wearing tight pants on the hill. Baggy has become the norm by which all other clothing has become standardized, programming you and all other gangster wannabe ass wiggas to think this is normal. You should re-evaluate what you see as tight and start seeing from clothing from an objective standpoint rather than a biased one.

So, in conclusion, who the fuck cares. Its just clothes. Why do you care so much?
 
I never quite understood this... here in California, all clothes are slim fit. I'll openly admit that nearly all my clothes are slim fit, including my jeans... that's really not seen as weird in any way around here... on the contrary, it's pretty much the "norm". Somehow, everybody on this site equates slim fit to "emo". I have no idea where that came from... but it seems a little strange to me.
 
That will be cool here in 2-3 years.

I personally dont like the fit of tight jeans...or jeans in general. i stick to come baggier fitting cargos and a hoodie.

Im short and stoky though, i'd look hilarous in tight fitting shit.

and don't worry we know surface isn't emo. if it was, all the color scheames would have to be based on black, and all the news write-ups would have to be all sad. and all this forum should be is people whineing about their lives and how their girlfriend dumped them and how now the world is over and shit.

oh and blake couldn't have long flowing hair. he would have to make it in to a style hawk but flaired out to the side and dyed black.
 
Pretty much people who aren't emo think anything that isn't what they are is emo. It's become an obsession of non-emos to think other people are emo. I don't think most kids even know what emo acctually is.
