Let’s buy a pair of skis

Okay so this year I am going to buy a new pair of skis and looking for some recommendations.

I do live in Sweden so I do not want some extreme shipping cost thank you.

I am 182 cm and weights around 75 kg I will also buy bindings and looking for Look 12,14.

I ski park and all mountain and want a playful but a bit wider ski, I ride TW line first model and they feel a bit to stiff.

Can you give a quick breakdown on what brands are widely available in Sweden?

I know the boutique american brands are expensive there due to shipping costs, and probably tariffs now??? Do you have access to the indie euro brands like Amplid, Majesty, Black Crows, etc.?

Might be cliche, but if you're willing to spend money, a candide 2.0 might be a good fit, or a 3.0 if you're spending lots of time out of park and want wider

Well, I now black crows are pretty easy to find without shipping inside of Europe, then line, armada and those types of brands are popular here!

Black crows do a ski called the camox which is a great all mountain ski which handles park quite well.

Armada ARV 96-106 are good park/all mountain skis also

Blacksheep sports in Germany have a decent selection of skis in, some RMU apostle 106 and 98's in stock which might suit. Or I've got a set of Throwdown 105s which I love - Down are another euro brand and do a really good pre-sale starting in August, blokes who run it are always super helpful if you hit them up on facebook too.

lol i just had the same debate with the fly 105.

It's definitely a soft ski but will most likely perform to what your looking for as long as you don't push it too hard

If you do purchase, head for the 185 as the rocker will make the ski feel more like 182-3

I’m currently skiing 171 skis and they feel a bit short and if I want to get in the powder I also think the 185 will feel better. Thanks man!
