Lethal Descent only in XL

i just got this mail from jibij.com because i pre ordered my blue detox jacket in XXL...it pisses me off, here is the mail:

I have both good and bad news to deliver. The good news is that Lethal

Descent clothing has arrived. The bad news is that their manufacturer made

an error, and only produced the XL size. There is no XL Tall available.

Because of this unfortunate mistake, we can either send you the products

your ordered in XL, or refund your order. Lethal Descent says the

difference between XL and XLT was only 4 inches in length, none in width.

Please let me know what you would like to do and I will take care of your

order immediately.
 
wow that actually really really sucks. wow. that's a pretty big fuck up on their part.
I guess I'd still take the XL
 
This is really, really fucking dissapointing. I pretty much ordered this shit only because it was tall. Letdown after letdown...I think I am going to return it.
 
anyone got pics....i been waiting to see the finished suit! jibij? non on lds website aside from that green one, whats up with that.
 
yo guys, what you are reading is true. we got seriously burned by our manufacturer. however the 4" difference in the sizes really is not much of a noticeable difference. the XL is definitely still a large fit that you would expect from us (slightly smaller than last years suit).

once again sorry guys i know it has been a bit of a rough year for us and on you guys between having to wait and now this but we really appreciate the support.

bit harsh....small companies can run into problems, missing a size sucks. that sounds like lack of communication. but im sure all will be stoked on their gear. (who absolutely dont need the ultra huge fit) and those who do i guess there is saga, or obermyer
 
YO, I just got my pants in grey, i ordered them XXL, but the XL is fine! It is still just as big as any other XXL pant from most companies like Oakly, if not bigger. On the other hand, the jacket was small I thought, but I just ordered the pants. Also, I saw the blue and it is a way doper color than on the pics, it's more bright, but not like a played out ozone. So if you ordered pants I would not worry, they are very huge.
 
Yo dude, relax, its not their fault. That sucks for Lethal Descent, especially since they seem like such nice dudes. Just give it a chance, XL is still big, and if its not big enough, then just send it back, it's cool I'm sure someone else will want to buy it, the shit's sick.
 
He picked them up in store. It's unfortunate that it happened, but it's completely out of their control. The stuff is still bigger than anyone else's XL, and great quality.
 
^^^it sounds like LD's distibuter f'd them over with their shipment of product. Ime pretty sure LD had nothing to do with not having the Tall size, trust me they know how bad everyone waned it. On another note, if anyone s selling their pnts ill BUY!!
 
Dude Im so fucking pumped for my shit to come. As far as everyone is concerned fucking 4 inchs isnt going to make a diffence, I mean with how baggy its fitting it will be barely noticable. So stay with LD or atleast thats what Im choosing to do.
 
Because they asked for one thing from the manufacturer and got the other...not like they had control over the matter. I'm just saying take it easy, homes, XL is still big.
 
hey you obnoxious fuck. the manufacturer made a mistake, not them. they are being legit as fuck, and taking care of it for you, so you dont have to pay for it. so why dont you stop being a prick and realized thats actually pretty sick that they did what they did.
 
What did they do thats good?
At least I am calming down and thinking its gonna be okay in the end. Im just mad that I worked hard to afford a new snowsuit this year and I don't get what I worked for.

I dont know if i got any, i cant check my email right now, but i sure hope they have shipped it even tough i ordered the XLT! just got to accept that im only gona get the XL, i am 5 feet 9, so i hope it will work! :D
 
so go buy something else. they could have told you to fuck off, that you had to pay for it and take a regular XL. but no, they are gonna refund you.

dude how do you think we feel? we spent all year putting together everything that goes into producing this outerwear and got some serious disappointment after everyone had already ordered . if you want to talk about who worked harder on this i hope you don't put yourself first
 
I'm sorry, I over reacted. I don't know why I got so upset to begin with, and I feel like a total asshole.
I can now see that you guys got really screwed and me acting like a whiny bitch to you guys does not make anything happen.
Once, again, sorry.
 
I hope they get it together for next year (If they make one next year).

Ok let me preface this by saying I do not have time to read this whole thread but I want to address some issues and get the full story out.

First, the majority of US orders in XL have gone out and you will be receiving your outerwear in a few days.

Here is the long story short with our factory, there will a press release in the next few days with all of the details but here is the overview. We placed our production order and was told our order would be at our doorstep early October/ late September. Slowly but surly this date got pushed back to the third week of November through a ridiculous string of excuses from our supplier. It was not ideal but still far faster than changing producers at that point. A few days ago, the day the outerwear shipped we were informed that they "forgot" to produce XLT and that the entire order was produced in XL. They are refusing to produce the ordered outerwear because of a lack of resources and I can only see this getting resolved in court because of this bullshit.

Hope that clears anything up, we are as pissed as you guys who ordered XLT are but please shoot me a PM if you have any specific questions

Wow, that sucks. You can probably get it solved, because I bet they just made all XL to save time and money and effort in making two different runs. Sounds like you got scammed, so I bet you guys can get something out of it. I hope you don't have this problem next season, I really like the idea of XLT, and that a smaller company can make dope gear. Didn't have enough $$ this season, I suppose that was a good thing though...
 
yeah it sounds like LD just got screwed by their supplier, im not even a very big fan of LD, but really, this doesnt seem to be their fault at all. i have a friend starting up a clothing company, and its tough, shit like this happens when your small. i guess LD could have found a better supplier, but really you dont know if they are legit or not until you try them out. ordering from a small company like LD or saga is always gonna be more risky, but shit, they are offering a full refund or the normal xl suit, you cant get mad at that, just take the xl, or take the money and buy something else, no big deal. if you think you are getting screwed over, think about how LD feels, they got fucked.
 
damn, shitty that you guys got fucked over on the time frame& sizing, and shitty for those who were looking forward to the tall sizing. but legit as hell thet you guys are giving the people who ordered the real story right away. also good that LDC runs big as fuck anyways so XL is like XXL anyways haha.
 
I got my pants today in blue. I thought it was the same color as in the pictures, i'm not sure how much i'm digging it right now, but it'll probably grow on me.
 
you mean you thought they were GOING to be the same color as the pic, or they actually ended up looking the same color? jw cause mine are coming on like tuesday...the other guy said they were brighter, and jibij said they had a little greenish hint to them
either way im pumped
 
I thought they were going to be. They're like a greenish blue, turquoise i guess you would say. But they're pretty sweet, i tried them on just now with my other stuff and they look pretty sick.
 
yah the pics make them look like they were gonna be like a denim/navy sorta color...im trying to imagine now how much different theyre going to look than that...
ill survive though, i mean im wearing a grey jacket this year so it doesnt really matter what color my pants are, the bright red ones i have look sick with it so im sure these will be no exception
