Let us introduce ourselves! -- The story behind ARTificial. Ski Company.

You guys should take advantage of the news editor thing they just added to put a press release up on here.

This is a shining example of how to get a foot in the door in the ski industry.

Too often I've seen kids who can barely spell post on SG saying "look at my new tall tee company, it's gonna be different from every other company because we're made by skiers and we're inspired from the ground up".

If you are thinking about starting a company and you really are inspired/driven/etc, it should speak for itself -- like it does with these guys. They obviously care about making quality skis, and I'll definitely be checking them out in the future.

Keep it up! Looking sick

I remember see you guys first a couple years ago. I'm so stoked to see where you've gone. I want the nutures so god damn bad.

It's finals week and my Nurtures are sitting at home all mounted up and longing for snow. I'll be posting a very informative and detailed review after a weekend of skiing. Hopefully I'll be able to help sway a few of you who are considering purchasing a pair. I haven't ridden them yet, but the fit and finish of this ski is top notch. I can't comment on much just yet, since I haven't skied them, but the graphics are great, and the construction is excellent. I can't wait to ski them this Saturday.

Just to let you guys know... we just posted up a sale that will last for 7 days. Prices are all automatically adjusted to %50 off so that you can get on the hill for a little less money. Check it out, our skis won't be this heavily discounted for a long, long while once this sale is over!

The rocker on these skis is pretty minimal. I've never had a rockered park ski before, but I love these. I would say the Nurtures have a similar rocker profile to the Chronics.

I think ARTificial is the sickest company and would love to ride a pair of their powder skis.

but look at that rocker. you can have your opinions and stuff, you know, yeah they might be better for surface swaps, and 270's off. But when you hit the 60 footer at mammoth on a pair of these, you are straight done for, and when you want to do a double off that jump, if you land backseat you are fucked.

I can see that all these ski companies are catering to the weekend warrior skier who isn't really throwing himself/herself hard. But to the kids that are, the skis are straight dying off. It's hard to find park skis that have full camber. I mean, yes they are out there, Liberty LTE, Atomic Punx, etc etc, but the selection is so little now.

We are very clear with the genre of this ski. It's specialized and we know it. When people ask us about the nurture, we make sure to explain it's a jib ski first and foremost. Anyone hitting the pipe and 50+ foot jump lines need to look elsewhere -- we would never suggest a ski to anyone that doesn't fit their criteria, because it only ends up in them having a bad time and us looking bad for pushing them into a product that's not specialized for their criteria.

Look for a fully-cambered jump ski in the near future ;) I.B. is right -- our skis are among the best for what they're intended for, just make sure you get some (ARTificial. or not) that suit your needs.

This. I'm not hating on your company in anyway. I think you guys are sooooo sick.

I just can't stand when people try to tell me that rockered park skis are better and that i'm a shitty skier because i am riding cambered skis. And yes, people do say things like that.

i would definitely buy a less jib-oriented ski from you guys! i only ride all-mountain skis, so i can skip between rails and jumps and still be poor, but at the same time, i prefer a slight early rise over traditional camber. right now i'm on '12 double times, and imo the profile is perfect

I love everything you're doing, keep it up and i'll keep checking back!!

Yeahh White Pass represent. Looks sick dude. If you get to Utah for a demo day, might as well hit up Tahoe on the way.

Dangit! I really wish I hadn't gotten surface blanks so I could try these out! Oh well, when my skis break I'll get these.
