Being out there skiing every day, good or bad, just playing around with friends, with no contests or filming- that is the real spirit of skiing for me. that is why i started skiing, and if i lose those moments that is what will make me stop skiing.

the old shit is awesome...Anthem is a horrible album. if you want a good LTJ album get losing streak or hello rockview

they are (and have been for like 5 years now) my favorite band... but unfortunately i haven't seen them live yet. maybe one day...

i love them. i like their old stuff, but i dont think that the new stuff is that bad. i really like most of the songs on Anthem

 
Borders & Boundaries is their best album in my opinion..check it out if you're just getting into them

almost no band that claims to be ska is ska. i doubt if any of you would know what real ska is, you would just think it was reggae!

and LTJ is great they have been great and continue to be great even on anthem!

Yeah I was pretty disappointed with Anthem, apparently the band was too. They totally sold out and even they knew it, they've since apologized through their newsletter I get... Other than their last album LTG has been a damn good punk/ska band (the term they coined for their sound...) Their next album is supposed to be back on their independent label so we'll see what it'll be like.

did any of you guys pick up b is for b sides? It was all the bsides from anthem, and in my opinion its pretty good

B-Sides should've just been Anthem save for Best Wishes to your Black Lung, Plastic Cup Politics, and Science of Selling Yourself Short. However, I do like most of the songs on Anthem. But for that kid up there, just because a band isn't traditional 1st wave ska doesn't make them not ska. 3rd Wave Ska is still indeed ska. Hello Rockview is by far their best album in my opinion.

Emo kids don't cry because they're sad all the time, they cry because they have to listen to that horrible music all the time. I'd cry if i had to listen to that whiny music over and over and over....wouldn't you?

(I'm in a band, go to purevolume.com and check out East Coast Skank. Our recording sucks, but bear with it...)
