I am in the market for a professional camera but dont have a lot of model names to look for, can someone give me suggestions of cameras that would be between 1500-1000 used or new. thanks

i'm guessing you want to go HD and with your budget DSLRs are going to be your best bet. check out the 7d, 60d, or 550d. they're all great cameras

I just recently got myself the t2i and the quality is amazing. plus it is much more affordable so you can still have money to get lenses. But i dont know if you wanted something a bit more professional like the 7D.

If you look around very hard you might find an ag-hvx200 for a little more or maybe an ag-hmc150 for a little more. If not an ag-hmc40 would be in that price range.

i have a sony slt-a55, it films in full hd and has a picture burst of 10 frames per second and it has done pretty good for me
