Less by Level 1

Reading Josh's inteview about Less, I never was able to watch Partly Cloudy. What is the controversial segment about? Could someone explain por favor

I never heard any of the controversy, only high praise for one of the most fun segments I've seen in a while. But It was Real Ski-Fi and Logan Imlach doing their thing. They did a lot of weird jibs and creative features, but if you've watched real Skifi, you know that they aren't Tom Wallisch in terms of style.

According to the article you are talking about, people were mad because it wasn't a style focused segment. I disagree with that analysis, but to each their own.
 
since the thread about this movie coming out on VHS got removed (no idea why that deserved a deletion rather than a section move....) -- I'll post the question I asked here -- anyone know if there's a chance they'll release the VHS copies w/o the DVD/shirt? I really want the tape (I've got a badass ski/skate VHS collection going) but don't want the other stuff that comes with it.
 
Pre-ordered. A question, why is Wallisch gone from L1? I assumed it was because he was filming The Wallisch Project but he's not in this movie. I haven't heard of him saying something official about it either.

Basically just Skifi doing their thing, not really style just insane tech, which in a way is their style. I guess compared to Delorm, etc, it rubbed some people the wrong way, I don't care, I really appreciate both.

I really dont understand. In the first half second of it, Delorme does this weird body twist that is almost mechanical while his skis stay unhinged.

Whoever is downvoting this hasn't seen the pattern in level 1 movies. The first two names in the credits ALWAYS are the opening and closer.
 
Well "Less" leaves me begging for more!! Crazy shenanigans to be had!! Looking forward to September.

I tend to think ski movies should be capped at 35 min. My only complaint is that this movie was just 10 min or so too long. Magnus dropped one of the best jib segs EVER. That nigga is te future! The gangsta Gibbs track just goes so well with it. His and will bermans segments make the movie worth buying alone. Khai goes the fuck in too!!!

yeeeaahh that was the icing on the cake for sure, sw 2 to the quad was also $$, the homie just has that wobble on dem railz tho! berman is also an absolute savage with some of those cement slides!
 
opening shot of Khai's segment on the top of Schweitzer with that 5-hit jib line what the fuck what the fuck what the fuck. Such a small time frame at golden hour to nail everything back to back.
 
I was disapointed. The whole movie seemed disjointed and the song choice was pretty bad. Mangus fucking murdered so hard.

it was alright, bought it on itunes just because there were some crazy bangers in it. but overall the movie felt disjointed , and didn't have the flow that ive come to expect from level 1s past films. but , still happy i bought it. no regrets , just seemed a lil long and i have to say i did not enjoy the music except for a couple songs/segments etc.
 
I was hyped on it. Better then Partly Cloudy, not as good as Sunny. Sig had a clean segment, and Magnus was clearly hungry for bangers last year. Yung LSM with the flow to keep it fresh. Soundtrack had some ups and a few minor downs. Overall it was pretty solid.
 
Am I crazy to say the Riksgransen, Finland seggy was the best in the movie? The one with the big snowfield with the rocks.. LSM might be my favorite skier right now in terms of style. Plus the music choice was dialed
