Lens choices are based ENTIRELY on what type of conditions you will be skiing in most. Sure, some will just buy whatever looks coolest, but they are fashionistas essentially.
Based off the fact that you are from Burlington, or at least that's what your profile indicates, I would seriously give the Hi-Intensity Yellow a look. Their low-light performance is incredible. They boost contrast big-time and really help you pick up the definition in the snow. They are somewhere around 80% VLT, which means they let in a LOT of light.
That said, if these are your ONLY goggles, they may not be the best choice. On sunny days come spring, you will be overwhelmed by them. In the case that these will be your ONLY goggles, I'd look into something like High Intensity Persimmon. Those make an excellent all-around lens.
If you have the option though, get a sunny day goggle with lenses like Black or Fire Iridium, and another goggle with a low-light Hi-Intensity Yellow lens. All-condition lenses are like all-season tires. Okay at everything, great at nothing. If you have the ability to do it, it's better to have the tool specialized for a specific condition rather than a tool that is trying to do everything.
