I just picked up a canon t3i and have a glidecam coming in the mail. Now I'm trying to get a good wide angle fallow cam lens. I'm thinking its between the Sigma 10-20mm or the Canon 10-18mm has anyone used ether or both of these? I can't decide what one to get. Thanks for the help ns.

What's your budget like?

Do you want a wide angle or fish eye?

I'm not a huge fan of the sigma 10-20, I think it has way too much distortion. The cabin 10-18 hasn't really impressed me either.

The tokina 11-16 or 12-24 are both superior lenses IMO.

If you want a fisheye look, get the rokinon 8mm.

I can get ether one for 250$ with a filter. My buddy has the canon 10-18 but I saw that other o e with a lot of good reviews too. :/

get this lens, 12-24 f4 im assuming you're mostly shooting during the day so f4 wont be an issue.

If you want better low light get the 11-16 f2.8, little more expensive but worth it

ditch both the 10-20 and 10-18.

Not a fan of the Sigma, I had a buddy with one of them a while back and it is OK but he sold it and got the Tokina 11-16 which he was much happier with. If price is an issue either be patient or do some serious internet searching. I got my 11-16 for $230, just have to get lucky.
