Length of international shipments to US held in customs

anyone have personal experience with something shipped from europe to us and how long it took? my shit shipped from switzerland feb 18th, says it arrived in us customs (USJFKA) feb 26 and that's the last update so i'm assuming it's still sitting in customs.

i want my springwear, i'm prepared to wait, i just want to know how long that might be. just wondering if anyone knows from experience, thanks
 
Your LSD got snagged at customs and you're going to jail for a long time. Better ski while you can. Might want to fake your death and move to Canada.
 
totally depends. i got a bike fork shipped from england via tnt shipping and it was held in customs a few days. over all it took like 2 weeks to get to me in MA.
 
I've had things shipped from eastern europe that made it to me in as little as 14 days and other shipments that have been held up in customs for a month or so. just gotta wait it out...
 
Had the sam problem, after some talking and being pissed I got in to my local postal office and I found my package there.

On the tracking it said that it was in LA, so go yell or something
 
sounds like there's no rhyme or reason to it. 3 weeks now since shipped, two weeks with tracking status as "Arrival at border point of destination country"

i'll keep waiting, sounds like it could be any time now. i'm hoping the status doesn't actually update until delivered.
 
I had the exact same situation as you, I live in Sweden btw.

Go to your local postal office and ask if they have anything for you or ask if you can look?

What are you waiting for?
 
got a tracking update today - it moved to another processing center in new york, so from feb 26 to mar 17 (around 3 weeks) it was held up if anyone gives a fuck.

my assumption is it will move like regular mail now. hooray.
