Leigh Powis inverted wall ride versus Clayton Vila rainbow rail 270 out

I can't do a lincoln loop, much less what Powis did, so I would take my chances with the big ol rainbow.

I know the wall ride you're talking about but I'm not familiar with the rainbow trick you're talking about. Edit link?

It's the last shot in this edit (before credits/post reel), it's also the last shot in The Eighty-Six:

The Creep - The Clayton Vila Segment from Stept Productions on Vimeo.

And I choose that, seems like lower consequence (still high, but lower then jumping upside down into a ceiling).

I would rather hit the rainbow. I also think that Max Morellos Cork 7 roof tap would be even more terrifying then leigh's loop tap

ALSO THREADJACK : Is Leigh Skiing this year? I havent heard a DAMN thing since his injury.

Being the guinea on any urban feature is the scariest part. If you're hitting the features with the riders the ceiling tap would be harder to judge speed for. I'd rather hit the rainbow right after Clayton

id probably try and flip just because i suck at rails but actually getting the tail tap would be sketchy

see, I feel like I have the opposite opinion of everyone else in this thread, that rainbow scares the shit out of me, if you undershoot/overshoot that you could die.. slamming into metal/concrete at that speed... yeah fuck that. Whereas with the tunnel-tap, you just do lincoln loops with a little more speed each time till you're close enough that you can tap your skis, hypothetically of course. In reality I would bitch out of both.

anyways, i think someone should contact leigh and tell him to do one of his two hand hand drag barrel rolls on that same rainbow that clayton iced

As completely mental as both tricks are,I'd go for Leigh's. I'm with beachball you just do a loop and get closer and closer until you can kick the ceiling.. I mean it's in slowmo it's not like he's touching it long to mess you up (not that it isn't sick). Clayton's trick just terrifies me, he's like barely on the rail.. and that's for sure a broken bone if you mess it up, at least when you'd mess up on the lincoln you might hit the landing..

While we're on the subject, I'd like to throw Cheddar into the mix with these two shots...cause fuck that:

This shot from Sunny:

Here's a shot of a fall on this feature (which probably should have broken something) at 0:10:

And then there's this madness (3:00):

Tim McChesney - Begging For Change (2011) from 4BI9 Media on Vimeo.

No disrespect to Clayton, cause the rainbow 270 looked sick and was still gnarly, but these two drops are fucked up, I'd probably try Leigh's lincoln before stepping up to these (for sure the second one).

Am I making this up, or is that tunnel where Max did the cork 7 tap and Leigh did the inverted wall ride also the spot where Leigh did the wall ride double a few years ago?

If so, someone post that edit please.

I don't see how the cork 7 is harder. He just hits the noses of his skis on the roof. Leigh loops and actually gets both of his skis flat on the roof, then gets the rest of the way around. Fuck that noise.

Well, hypothetically, is the person holding the gun to your head only asking you to try, or to land the trick? If we just have to attempt one, I'm going with the ceiling tap because I know I won't make it, but I'll just throw a lincoln loop (which is easy), and make it look like I tried. Any attempt on that rainbow is gonna be sketchy as hell, at least for me. But if we absolutely HAVE to land it, I have a way better chance at the rainbow.
