For a twin, that's an ok size for you. You're a foot shorter than I am, and if I would buy one twin (I have two), it would be a low 170. Doing the math, you calculate out to a mid 140.

Hey I'm about 5'8' and I'm on a 170 I can still. If I were you I would longer. It's better stability in the air.

You should try the best you can to taylor your ski length to your skiing style. There are about a billion factors that should go into you choosing your ski. For example, how fast do you like to ski, do you really NEED the stability, how heavy you are, how wide the skis are, and to me.........the most important- how much time do you spend off piste. All things to think about. Your local shop expert should be able to help you out, it's hard to judge over a computer forum (in my opinion). I've bought both skis that have been too short and on the contrary, too long. Find the ski that has the right radius for you, is a good flex, and will make the types of maneuvers you would want it to ie. don't buy a ski with a 12m sidecut if you like slalom turns....

thanks people.. morebumps youre totally right.

i'm 5'10 150 pounds and i'm wondering what size skis i should get, i'm riding 150's now. I'm thinking about get 160cm give or take a few cm. Do you think 150 is to short for my size?

Dude- if you like your 150's and you can keep them stable at the speed you ski at, then by all means....your length of 150 is perfect. If you want some more stability and flotation, go up to a 160. If you don't NEED the stability...screw it, stick with what you have. Whatever makes you happy.

dude i am 5'10' and weigh 150 iride 164 an that is the dialed number. i should be a 178 if i went by hight but the 164 keep me spinning fast and still able to go all mtn.
