Legs for rail

I have a nice step down rail for my backyard but it has three straight legs with no feet at the bottom. Without embedding this thing in the ground what other methods have you guys/ girls used to support your rail. (NO WELDING INVOVLED)

Looking for a sweet rail go to any large Landscape company and they wil have lots in their yard. Give them away free.

Life is tough. Get over it!!!

either weld it, or build a wood structure to support it. or, cement it. OR, if it's cold enough, freeze it in ice. IDK if that'll work, but if you put the ends in like a foot of standing water, then let it freeze, it just might work.

yeah 4x4s work well... it works fairly well if you put them down early and when the ground is still soft (or wet) and stand on them and stuff to get them embedded a few inches into the ground.

your building a rail out of a 2' pipe??? or did you mean 20'...anyway just build it or find a friend that is not dumb and he can do it for you...it is easy!!

Estctst101 got the last one . Here is a new riddle:

From house to house he goes,

A messenger small and slight.

And whether it rains or snows,

He sleeps outside at night.

What am I?
