Legit Reasons to be written up By Ski Patrol?

so today at tremblant where i dont usually ski it thought the sign for this trail (named shortcut) was a little glade through the woods cuz the trail sign pointed right to an opening in the woods, so my friend goes on it and a 2 seconds later this ski patrol who came out of nowhere is like give me ur pass and get ur friend who is like halfway down the trail and im like i didnt even go in the woods, and after about 5 minutes of arguing i got him to just mark our passes instead of pulling them with a warning which later in the day i just wiped off the marking but the guy was a total dick to us.by the way who was filming in the park on the south side today, some of the guys had NSF stickers on their helmets
 
I have seen manual scanning at every mountain I've been to in the US. There's manual scanning in Alta, Snowbird, Brighton, Aspen, Vail, Breckenridge, Keystone, etc.... yeah .... "almost all hills have those" NOT.

 
iam a patrolle and thats how most people act just dont get caught

take extra watch from mountain hosts there patroller wanna bees
 
a sko patroller gave my buddy and mine shit for "going to fast" on a green run. And low and behold he has the balls the PASS us after he gives us shit. GO figure
 
I grew up skiing the same mountain as the OP. The skis patrol there are suck fucking idiots, it's insane. I was cruising down a groomer kind of fast and some ski patrol tried to get me to stop so I waved at him, did a 180, and kept going. When I got to the bottom there were like 4 patrol waiting for me and they took my pass for the day and made me watch that fucking safety video.
 
to be clear.....you showed up without a pass and got mad when you were told you couldnt ride the lift....you physically put your hands on a female employee, a move you already mentioned you wont let them do to you....now you always carry a change of tee and goggles "just in case"????

you dont deserve a pass
 
the ski patrollers at my mountain are the best skiers. they're the ones going super fast past gapers :) they've never told me or any of my friends off and they sometimes tell people to go onto green runs if they're going to slow....
 
this is why the majority of the mountain hates, freeskiers. because the majority of you are jackasses.
 
i ride bristol, and i can honestly say the ski patrol is ridiculous

me and my friends were filming the pond skim, just sitting next to it laughing and having a good time, we ride this mountain 100 days a season, its our fucking home, and this ski patrol comes up to us and says

"you guys need to leave this area right now, i know your all just waiting for everyone to leave so you can ride the pond skim when were all gone, and im not gonna let you do it, if you dont leave the pond skim area right now im pulling all of your passes"

i looked at him and laughed i was like "oh of COURSE!! mr powerful ski patrol!! anything you say sir!! why you sure did catch us un-ruly, scheming dirty little teenagers right in the act! us meddling kids and our talking dog too!! your a certified genius sir!! read us like a fucking book!! you sure are sly, and handsome too!!"

he flipped shit at that, started screaming and telling us to get the fuck out of there and to respect him

god... i read that... and it doesnt even sound believable its also poorly written
 
sorry for post whoring but..

i acted like a dick in the confrontation in the above post, normally i try my absaloute hardest to understand that these guys are only doing there job, are looking out for the best interest of everybody, and i generally act prettty respectful towards them, i feel like i owe them something after they out a buddy of mine who cut his head open on a chairlift by getting him inside the ski patrol hut (which is fucking NICE on the inside) and patching him up and tobogganing him down, some of them really are pretty cool guys, and just patrol because they love the outdoors, they love to ski, and they love to help people out, but that time, and alot of of other times ive been yelled at, are completely ridiculous power trips. i wish they could find a moderation where they could still protect peoples safety while still alwoing people to have a good time in thier own way, without being total fuckstick douchebags
