Legit Reasons to be written up By Ski Patrol?

Well obviously Europe isn't yet as plagued by the blame culture as the US; although I'm sure we'll unfortunately get there soon enough. And that will be a bad day for skiing.

I was helped by ski patrol the know what they are doing

at lest in crystal MI

also if you are rokin a tall tee you look like a person who is "bad and that makes them want to take you down.

next time this stuff happens, flip it right over on the ski Patrol

"You were doing ____!!! what were you thinking!?!?!"

*excuse*

"no blah blah blah, it was dangerous, i might have to pull your pass lemme, call in your name"

"While your calling in, tell a supervisor (or what ever) to come up here, i would like to speak with him about how you've treated and harassed me and how you've over reacted and ruined my day here at *mountain*"

Now its his fault!!! and if he says yes... either actually wait and complain about the idiot or tell him you are going to go down and talk to someone. threatening to not come back and tell other people not to come back is huge, because they love money more than safety. just turn it over on them, they will look like idiots. but be respectful and completely serious

haha na, this was one of the groomers before it opened. so it wasnt groomed, and had just received like 12 new.
it was not closed for avy, but cuz it wasnt groomed yet.

I get pulled over for skiing switch all the time. i just say fuck you and run away. Which is easy because everyone on ski patroll sucks at skiing.

Haha i looked at your profile and recognize your jacket and pants from like angel fire or some shit. Whered this happen at though?

Hmmmmm...

Interesting. Though last Thursday was a dick day for all of us.

But I ski through the trees and ski switch in uniform.

Yeah fuck santa fe, a bunch of hippie, tele-loving dickheads on patrol. Me and some broskis are gonna go so hyphy on them sometime

Honestly dawg, if someone wants to jump a line thats their problem. I dont think ski patrol should have to take responsibility for them but I know santa fe ski patrol is just a bunch of douchebags who jizz themselves every time they find some way to hassle someone. But also they have become way more strict after some young girl from texas went head first into a tree or some shit and passed away. But whatever, I think if I duck a line, im responsible for anything I do and I dont expect ski patrol to help me out, but I also mainly only duck when Im with someone and its either to a secret stash or If I gotta take a piss.

One time we got pulled over by this partol trying to tell us our polls were too short. Although they were rental polls we just told him we all worked there and were allowed to use them. We just showed him our pass and he let us off haha... Some can be cool though, Our friends dad is a patrol and he doesnt really care what we do as long as he doesnt have to report us.

What the hell is wrong with you? Im not asking for you to be my mom or a fucking white knight (plus your canadian). Im pretty sure im much more likely to be bleeding everywhere and dying by getting hit driving down the mountain then I am if I go out of bounds. And you make it sound as if inbounds everything is all magical and safe and if I follow the rules ill be fine aswell. Open your fuckin eyes man, look at all the shit that happened early season in Utah and Colorado. I use just as much caution in the BC as I do inbounds, and I try my best to think for a second before I do something.
Just because you wear arc'teryx and have some garmont or whatever the fuck boots doesnt mean that you were sent by allah himself to protect us.

And please dont get me wrong, I dont hate ski patrol (I actually wanted to be ski patrol at the mountain TC is talking about when I was like 14-15 haha) and for the most part I think there are some cool guys. I just think people should be prepared to face the consequences of their actions (whether that be ducking a line and having a pass pulled or skiing to fast and going out of control and hitting a tree). What I dont like is when some pompous prick is sprouting some "holier then thou" attitude at someone he doesnt know at all.

ya man, see the thing is i see gapers all the time here straightline down the whole hill and would never get in trouble. why? becyase they dont look like thier good enought to do anything different, which makes no sense. this mkes no sense becuase we that acually ski xcan go that same speed and stop, carve, or do whatever to get out of the way if something is wrong. i just dont get how i can be yelled at for being able to something in control. even going switch i have more control than those people,,a dni get yelled at! this deosnt really have to do with what i quoted, but i would also like to say that i agree with him. i also kinda wanted to be a ski patrol here hahah

most of the time ski patrol is pretty cool, especially at small local mountains. But at big resorts the patrols always act like cops and its hella annoying.

you a legally bound t know whats closed, so it doesnt mater were u entered, it just mattered that u were in it

cuz its a hasle to deal with dead people even if they cant sue you for it. in some cases thats why tthey dont make jumps in the park. other times its for liabilities...

this has happened to me at: copper, kstone, breck, abasin, pc, and solitude. no joke. seriously patrol need to chill out, ive just learned to blow them off for those bullshit reasons and ride away instead of arguing. the one time i argued i got my pass pulled, so if patrol is giving you shit for some lame reason, just ride away, they hardly ever come after you.

Sad to say, I live in Texas now too and I ride New Mexico. I'm originally from Cloudcroft, NM. Fuck it though, I still get 50 days a yr. Anyone who hates can suck it. We like to ride just like everyone else.

Since when did ski patrol have the right to tell you what you can and cant do. Seriously??? SNO MOUNTAIN is gay.!!!!!!!!!! Ski patrol= gaper club!! they once made my friend sit in timeout for 2 hours for doing a frontflip!! they took his pass and wouldnt let him ski!!!! GAPERS!!

you mean laugh?
so do I. european resorts only got chill ski patrollers(if they have any, most only have poeple by the lifts). But im wondering one thing. In america, don't you have things like these to get to the lift, with a ski pass with a sensor?

I think I can beat you on this one, I got yelled at by security for STEPPING ON THE STAIRS TOO HARD. I was wearing my ski boots. And no, I was not stomping on the stairs.
