Legally fuck the cops and make $??

not saying this is amazing, or will make a buttload of money, but its a good idea to try.

Find a cop hidden somewhere with a speed trap set up. about 100 yards up (or wherever he cant see you) hold up a sign that says "SPEED TRAP UP AHEAD!"

then about 100 yards past the cop the other way, have a buddy hold up a sign that says "TIPS" and have a big bucket set up.

you might not get alot of people to stop and give tips actually but hell its worth a try huh?
 
yeah but whos gonna pull over and give money when there on the left side

maybe if you sit in the intersection or something
 
They get pissed if you flash your lights to warn people, I think you'd probably get screwed doing that. But it is a rather clever idea, I'll give you that.
 
you could have a huge bin to throw change into as people drove by. after all, they wouldnt be going very fast if they were just traveling the speed limit
 
dude, let them get pissed, what are they gonna do, sit there and yell at me? they have to see me anyways, and i'd be a good distance away.

like alot of ppl said, might not make alot of money, but it sounds like a really good time, people would be all honkin and going crazy and shit, they'd love it. and of course the cop would be frustrated as hell that no1 is over the limit, god damn add that to all the doughnuts and for sure a stress induced heart attack
 
I don't think anybody would pay, regardless having a sign set up that says "speed trap ahead" would be a good idea. I wonder how many people wouldn't be clever enough to actually slow down?
 
i'll bet they would... and anyways for the poor suckers that dont the 2nd guy gets to see their ass get pulled over when the cop rolls
 
how could it be illegal, because your fuckin the cop over? fuck that, they deserve to die, the least you could do is piss them off.
 
my friends done that, it works, just not the tip, but he did save a couple people from tickets...

the whole purpose of speeding is to get from point a to point b faster. stoping to give someone money does not benefit the cause. Get a fucking radar detector bitches.
 
aahaha thats a sweet idea. Theres no way you'd make any money though. Although I'd probobly give you a few bucks if I was actually speeding.
 
word dude. Mr_Dude got it for the death shit. Death isn't something you fuck around with. Cops are just doing their job. Yeah sometimes they can be dicks, but deserve to die??? I don't care if it was only a joke, but thats just rediculous. We need to keep it a little more positive around here.
 
there has to be some law against this. but still it's pretty awsome if you saw a cop doing a speek check and make a sgin and post it a block ahead.
 
yea dude and when the cop comes by or something have a reversible sign that says like support our troops or something like that
 
what can they say really? is there a law against warning other drivers of a speed trap?

i would pay whoever did that. i would have gotten out of alot of tickets.
 
That would work really well if after the cop the guy collecting money was at a stop sign, and his sign said "my friend had the "speed trap alert" sign". yahh...consider that.
 
you see this is what would happen. you'd do it, mayube make some loot, but then the cop would probably find out, arrest you and that whole deal, and try to charge you with endangering a cop or something. it would go to court and youd be found not guilty blah blah blah...

my theory....DO IT!
 
THere was a small trial over this i Denmark. Some guy was parked right where the cops stood and was flashing his lights like a mad man. The cops claimed that he was "Obstructing police work"

The reverse argument was that speedtraps are put in place to make people slow down.

I think the police won. Sorry... Don't if it works in the same way in US.

but GREAT idea. Pretty creative.
 
got to find a place where there is a stopsign or stop shortly after, that wya they are stopped anyways, might aswel tip you
 
if anyone did that theres bound to be some soccer mom that cruises past you and is horrified of what your doing so calls 911 to tell them the situation.

good idea but the collecting money thing would get you in trouble. but if you do do it make sure you're on private property with your sign and dont just leave the sign because cops will drive by and see it so on the back have something written like police protect and serve and switch over for cops/dmv people.... anyone with a light on their car.
