Legalization of Weed vrs. Lower drinking age

that would still fuck shit up. what if you're birthday was january 1st 1988, but your buddies is dec 31 87, then this year your buddy could start drinking jan 1 2008, and you would have to wait until 2009. while it doesn't really fuck anybody since nobody would have to wait longer than 21, it would relatively fuck other over.
 
No, medical marijuana was legalized in California by Proposition 215.

SB 420 just further elaborates upon 215 by fixing certain problems it had, as well as outlining the rights of medical marijuana patients under state law. And yes, I believe they most likely made it SB 420 for that very reason.

Medical marijuana is not just for dying cancer patients. I have it, and I don't have cancer, nor am I dying. If anyone wants more info about it they can pm me.
 
different year, deal with it. Poor comparison. Lets say I'm born January 1st and your born September 1st (same year), we would both be able to drink together on January 1st. My ideal system would be far more fair then your proposed problem to it..
 
not really, he was saying that people born two days apart would end up having to wait a year to drink together.

that would never happen because there would be mass carnage in the bars every time the date for new drinkers came around. everyone would be out on the piss. if its done on your birthday its fair. birthdays are a graduated system - a few more people every day get to drink, not thousands of people on the same day. everyone has had to wait exactly the same amount of time before they are allowed to drink. why should I have to wait 10 months longer to drink because my birthday is 10 months before the legal day?
