As i am sweating my nuts off playing some playstation on this hot summer day, i can't help but think about the music i'm listening to. LEd zeppelin is some good shit. Plant and Page together, so sick. Where has the music gone, or has all the good musci been made? I listen to nothing but classic rock not because I choose too, but because the stuff today just sucks. Like all this half ass crap rock like trapt or mudvayne. my advice to people who listen to todays music, pop why not pop in a classic rock cd, maybe some floyd, creedance, or hendrix. It might just do you some good. O h by the way, does anyone know if page and plant are going to do some kind of reunion zeppelin tour?

it would be the sickest thing to go to a Led Zeppelin tour. I'd pay up to 300 bucks for taht.

zeppelin is the best, the only new music i listen to is underground hip hop because its the only new music that the artist actually cares about in my opinion

see the problem today, people write absolute shit in their lyrics, like completely worthless prose and it sells. Back in the day the people may have been drugged out, but at least they were saying something and they had top notch musicianship to back it up.

i love zeppelin, couldnt say i know much about them but i really appreciate their music.

favourites are: the immigrant song, whole lotta love, communication breakdown and when the levee breaks.

what u guys think?

what other similar music is there- if any? ive got Hendrix- Essential Hendrix... all copied although its music id actually agree thats worth paying for.

 
wrong, of course most of the old good music is really good. but if you look past all the shitty mainstream bands there are a lot of good bands out there.

that kid with webster in his icon is wrong, bercause i dont give a shit about mainstream and the old stuff cant be better because nothings better than zeppelin, i havent heard any guitarist who sounds anything like page or hendrix in the 90s/2000s, and i havent heard any lyrics as good as what roger waters can write either, so it just happens to be old but whatever

^died of aspiration in his sleep from the drink. (choked on vomit) least thats what I think it was. I totally support that scene but u gotta look for what has evolved from it. Some cool stuff like Dream Theatre or Symphony X and other stuff. good music nowadays is forced underground. But i think its a valid argument that zep (along with a few other bands) helped create metal by takin blues and awsome solos, viewpoints and the love of the female form to get metal. i think.

i listen to rap and shit but led zep is sooooo good. my brothers a hippy so i listen to that shit all the time too, phish, led, the dead, the stones, the who, the doors, i grew up on that music and i love it so much.

my brother has a box set of zeppelin, its sick.
